It's not exactly a bad season. I mean, the Frozen story arc was an obvious cheap cash grab, jumping the bandwagon, and made the show feel like a complete sellout but it still had a few good episodes and good things about it. But really, most of the main cast during that story arc was given the shaft except for Emma and Rumple (Though he was mainly being an ass). Plus they didn't do anything with the Frozen characters and you had to of seen the movie to know them or what they're talking about (Which makes it feel uncreative and dated). If we just had Ingrid or even had her of been Jadis from The Chronicles of Narnia it would've been a better story. The Queens of Darkness/Author storyline of the second half of the season was great but it felt really rushed and the pacing wasn't as flowing as the other seasons. There was so much to squeeze in that it felt kind of cluttered but it was still great.

Either this one or season 5. I just felt like the writers stopped trying, almost. In my opinion, the storylines got pretty lazy, and it’s hard to stay invested in a show when it seems like the writers aren’t even all that invested in it themselves.

The Frozen storyline was mediocre at best. It wasn't a re-imagining of any fairy tale rather it was, as KataraLover said, jumping the on bandwagon. The Queens of Darkness storyline had a lot of potential but ended up feeling formulaic.

Still going with Wonderland.

i am neutral about season 4, but i don't like the Dark Swan/Merlim/Camelot arc, the only thing that i like in this season is underworld arc
