If a man hit a woman once... he will hit another one again. So basically the logic: "my boyfriend only hits other women, but he never hits me." seems very wrong to me.

Oh god, I want to hit hook in the face when that happen and I'm hook's fan (still hook's fan, he's an a** but still love him as a VILLAIN), after that scene I decide I won't ship hook with any women, I just want hook to be pure villain

It was wrong of him to do so but he's a villain, what do people expect? Villains tend to do a lot more than just hitting people. To all the people saying "OMG he hit a woman!"...hitting someone is wrong regardless of the genders.

And is not the same that he had a sword fight with Emma. But to hit a person trapped, without any defense... now that's COWARDICE.

I think you are going a little far with your question. If Emma punched a guy for no reason would it be considered abuse? This is what Hook did. Now if Belle was his girlfriend that would be a different subject but he is a grey character and Belle doesn't mean anything to him.

Regina was the one locking up Belle, is that abuse? If it was a man holding Belle hostage would that be different? I don't like anyone (man or woman) who hits another. I don't think Hook hit Belle because she was a woman. I'm sure if it was Rumple's son he would have done the same thing.

Hook loved Milah, did he hit her? No. How foolish this is, you must be a child.

Just because a man whose love has been killed goes a little nuts doesn't mean he is an abuser. I wouldn't be a kind person either if someone killed my love in front of me.

Neither. He was a villain at the time, Belle was in love with his enemy and hadn't helped him/provided information as he'd expected. Trying to kill her was wrong, but it was the sort of thing you'd expect a villain to attempt.

I don't think that a man hitting a woman is automatically wrong or worse than him hitting another man. That implies that women are weak and delicate little flowers. It wasn't like they were in a relationship, making it domestic abuse.
