Did we ever find out what was in that big black box Regina attempted to open in Gold's toko in "We Are Both?"

I keep forgetting about that scene and I often wonder if that was meant to be a clue for an upcoming storyline. Was the sorcerer's hat in there? atau could it possibly be a genie's bottle? I ask this cause in Once Upon A Time in Wonderland there's an episode where a similar looking black box holds a genie's bottle so i wonder if that was a clue that maybe at some point, Cyrus atau some other genie might appear in storybrooke which again begs the question, could Jafar be returning? Could it have been Jafar's bottle and he's imprisoned in there?
