What are your puncak, atas 5 Odo/Kira Episodes?

Here are mine, ranked in order of preference (which was damned difficult).


1. "His Way" 6x20 Best ciuman ever on bintang Trek.


2. "Chimera" 7x14 An honest, mature exploration of Odo and Kira's relationship, punctuated oleh that visually beautiful and sensual conclusion.


3. "Children of Time" 5x22 Brilliant bittersweet story set against the backdrop of the 'no-win scenario.'

4. "Necessary Evil" 2x8 How it all began for Odo and Kira, with that devastating final scene.

5. "The Search" (Parts 1 & 2) 3x1-2 The Odo/Kira friendship bond at it's best and a poignant reminder that getting our wish doesn't always bring happiness.

* Chimera - shows how far they came as individuals, partners, friends, AND lovers; the maturity is very touching. And I LOVED the part where they walk toward each other and meet in the middle - very powerful metaphor for the change brought about in their relationship from now on. Then, of course, the cinta scene ....

*His Way - the dance AND the kiss. Watching O/K slow dance together made all my fangirly dreams come true, and the ciuman at the end? Phenomenal!

* Children of Time - Hearing from Kira's own lips that if Odo had berkata something earlier, things MIGHT have been different. Powerful moment. And the cute scene of them on the mountaintop together, hand-in-hand .... *sigh*

* The Reckoning - The Ward Room scene :). Odo tells Kira that he may not believe in the Prophets, but he does believe in HER .... *sigh* Then he proves it oleh allowing the Prophet to remain in her body, though he may lose her forever. Bittersweet, since they had only just gotten together. He knows he might lose her, but as her lover, he respects her wishes first and foremost.

* When It Rains/Tacking Into the Wind/Extreme Measures (the "Odo is dying" arc) - here we have a lot of unspoken moments between Odo & Kira. Kira is quietly suffering with grief as she watches Odo get worse, while he's trying to *pretend* that he's just fine. Kira knows better, tampilkan just how well she knows and loves him. Just as she can't put anything past him, he can't put anything past her. The way she moves against Rusot to defend him and he is right oleh her side ... the way she kneels beside Odo after he collapses and grimaces when he cries out in pain, as though his pain is radiating through her. The way she embraces him, and finally, the way they ciuman in "Extreme Measures." It starts off as her kiss, but he responds as much as he can and caresses her hand with his fingertips.
