Dunno why I thought this would be an interesting question...

Anyway, I have to choose her, because if I could find myself a sweet, precious little "Flutterguy," I'd love and cherish and protect him forever and ever! >3 (Why should guys be expected to be more outgoing than girls, anyway?) And we'd be forever surrounded by animals and plants and beautiful music, and could both enjoy quiet time...

But, I would also find a male version of Rainbow Dash, Applejack, or Twilight Sparkle INSANELY appealing--those three are my favorites for reasons! ;)

A Pinkie dude would be AMAZINGLY fun, and I'd want to at least befriend one. He'd be quite a handful, though. o.o Pinkie sure is a lot of energy, cheer, extroversion, talkativeness, fourth-wall-shattering, laws-of-physics-defying, and socialization to handle--but then, she does tend to do most of the talking (which in fact makes her sorta good for quieter types), and she's WELL worth dealing with, even if she can be a hassle and get on your nerves at times! She's more intuitive and sensitive than she's often given credit for.

Of course, I'd love to be FRIENDS with ALL of them, regardless!
And a very proper, dapper Rarity guy would be truly awesome, too. x3 Imagine what an amusingly metrosexual, fabulous, stylish, fashionable, trendy, in-the-know, and of course, supremely classy gentleman that might make!
I'm sure most or all of them would give me reasons to semi-regret the relationship at times, but on the whole, I'd like to know them all.

Blup: Lawl, nope, not at all. (Although she probably would!) Can't you imagine other reasons for which one might adore her? I explained my reasoning. ;) <3 In fact, I'd try to gently encourage her to show a little more confidence in herself, and her own thoughts and opinions (of which I'd be respectful and considerate), and I wouldn't take advantage of her kindness. Cool picks; same here! :) When I asked this, I was intending for "BF" to stand for "boyfriend" (imagining the ponies as boys, if you're a girl)--but I see that some people interpreted it as "best friend," which is fine, too. I'd love to be friends with absolutely all of them!! That would be an even more difficult pick!!

Yeah, that is a good point, and I had to consider it as well...I'm very Rainbow Dash-like, with a quick, explosive temper and a mean streak. I'd be concerned about hurting a Fluttershy-type by accident. And yet...folks as truly sweet as her are something like one in a million, and they seem to naturally appeal to and bring out my gentler side. For them, I can act differently, and curb my usual tendencies. My protectiveness would also be STRONGLY invoked.

Still, I imagine that Fluttershy would be very forgiving even if she was hurt.

Dash and I would have our spats, surely, because we are both competitive and can think a bit too much of ourselves sometimes. It would be similar to her and Applejack--the two "tomboys" are close but can get into heated battles. And I feel exactly the same way about Pinkie. I have my Pinkie moments for sure, but on the whole she'd be a real hoofful to deal with all the time. She'd bring loads of joy and sunshine to your life, plus some good old-fashioned random insanity...but yeah, her near-constant pep and cheerfulness could potentially become grating. As Twilight and the others well understand...

It's rare that a female-centered show or movie is this successful and widely loved by people of both sexes (though mostly guys!) I LOVE that it's making such a statement: You DON'T need to focus on male characters to attract a large and diverse audience. That seems to be a very widespread misconception.

Twilight: like to study? Pretty much all this ponies job is but has other stuff too.
Applejack: Some like em' country and strong!
Rainbow dash: competitions are always nice...but not if you lose.
Pinkie Pie: Party equals BEER! nah just kinding but hangovers aren't fun.
Fluttershy: calm quiet and content. Not much of a hassle.
Rarity: fashionable and style? Maybe!

I picked Fluttershy for a few reasons. For one, she's the element of kindness, and that's one of the most important qualities I'd look for. She absolutely loves animals and so do I. I couldn't imagine living without pets (especially cats). That's one of the bad things about college. No pets.

However, there are things I like about the personalities of all of the mane 6, and there all wonderful. Rainbow Dash is athletic and enjoys all kinds of physical activities, AJ is very family oriented, Twilight is a science girl (my major), Rarity is an artist and cares about her appearance, and Pinkie would be tons of fun to be around and would always make you smile.

Plus, there all vegetarians as said so by Pinkie. It can be hard finding a girlfriend who you can relate too. Actually for me it can be hard finding a girlfriend at all, as I've never had one (sad I know). I just find it hard to talk to people and make new friends. I've always been shy like that.

I'm the same in a lot of ways--vegetarian, science fan, animal lover (I'm so glad I commuted to college so I could live at home with all of my dogs and fishies...now I have an issue because I want to move away for an internship, and don't know where I can live with my dog!), and I love all of those things about the other ponies, too. They'd all be good qualities I can appreciate and relate to. And don't worry...I frankly think that having a boy/girlfriend is a bit overrated. Unless you've found a truly great one for you, of course, but as you realize, that ain't too easy.

Most of them are girls and I am a girl and I cannot imagine it that they were a boy!! Accept Rainbow Dash cuz she has the hair style named boy but girl style. She is seriously like a boy when she was young cuz her hairstyle and her voice and defending her friends. That is what I call loyalty. She also loves adventures as well as she does not want to leave her friends too. But I would rather pick shining armor or flash as both of them are handsome boys since young.
