My acak headcanons III.

Flash Sentry

Okay, just a quick brainstorming again, won’t take long. I’ve noticed some activity around the topic of Flash Sentry. You've probably recognized him already, but if not, he’s this guy right here on the pic-->

Now, this character appeared in the Equestria Girls movie both in pony and human form. I’ll only talk about the pony form; it is lebih relevant to MLP. I’ve done some brief research on the net and found that many people (even here on Fanpop) expecting Flash Sentry to return in Season 4 of MLP FiM. Before I proceed, let me state that I’m pretty neutral about this guy, I haven’t seen enough of this character to form an opinion.

However, I think it is very unlikely that Flash Sentry will tampil up as a reappearing character in MLP FiM, although it is possible he'll tampil up as a background character from time to time. Why am I being so negative, anda might ask? I’ll get to that in a minute. But first, let’s remember the scene at the end of Equestria Girls where Twilight blushes after bumping into Flash and her friends say she has a crush on him. So, IF Flash Sentry returns, it would definitely mean a cinta interest sub-plot for Twilight. Not gonna happen. Why?

Just think about it for a second! The Season 3 Finale brought a giant, life-altering change in the most defining aspect of the primary protagonist. Making Twi into an alicorn, the writers not only disrupted the symmetry of the Mane 6, but changed the status quo of the entire MLP premise, pissing off half of the fandom. They are balancing on the edge of success and failure. Season 4 is the critical point in my opinion. It will decide if the tampil will live on atau not.

Turning into a Princess is a huge transition for Twilight already, they probably not going to puncak, atas that with a cinta interest, when there are so many other things they should tell us first (for example, we don’t know s*** about alicorns). Not to mention such transition must be executed properly otherwise they will piss off even lebih fans. The writers are already playing with fire, so they will most likely not risk introducing a cinta interest at this point. Well, if the tampil lives to see a Season 5, then it’s a whole different question. In that case, the presence of Flash Sentry as a cinta interest would seem legit. But in Season 4 where there are so many things to explain and discover, I don’t think there’s any luar angkasa left for a romantic sub-plot, even with 26 episodes.

Of course, these are just my theories. Time will tell. Keep calm and Brony on!:)
