Jamie Campbell-Bower has been cast as Jace. Its official.

I'm honestly way too entertained with the thought of him portraying Jace that I can't complain. Jamie's a quirky guy in general, and I like that about him, which is why I kinda liked it when he became a possible choice for Jace awhile back.
Though I don't like the guy, Pettyfer had the right look for the Jace I personally imagined. However I'm currently too busy trying to insert Jamie's face within the text of the buku to care much. He's definitely an interesting choice and I'm REALLY happy they didn't go for an extreme "pretty boy". Maybe it'll make girls actually care lebih about the character than his looks.

Now i am hugely disappointed. He cant be Jace. He cant be ENGLISH!! And i had thought that Jace was supossed to be attractive...WHAT is this?!?!

I prefer Alex pettyfer he is perfect 4 the part. but i guess that's just what it is.

Ugh. I am not a fan of Bower. But I can't really say how he'll be as Jace untill I see him.

I'm actually screaming with joy right now! I think he'll be perfect as Jace! He's funny, an amazing actor and his looks so cute! If only he buffs up a bit then he will be just right for the role!

I can't say I'm a fan of the choice. The lack of muscles can be fixed, but his face isn't exactly teen heart-throb.

i was team pettyfer but im gonna give jamie a chance. he could be really good at akting like jace. but he's not exactly how i pictured jace, becuse i dont think jamie's anda know hot

I was envisioning someone better looking than Jamie(no offense to Jamie)since Jace is supposed to be so 'damn hot' that his looks affect the mental functioning of girls. Jace is fictional and there won't be someone who looks like him...and no matter who's cast as Jace some fan won't accept him(the actor). I don't know JCB so i don't know his akting abilities. But Cassie thinks that Jamie and Lilly Collins(Clary) have perfect chemistry.

I was a little dissapointed- figured Alex Pettyfer was a sure thing- but only for about a minuet. Jamie's awesome, a great actor, and I'm sure the movie people will fix him up to be the perfect Jace!

I think he will do fine, he will get a personal trainer and get lebih rigged, i think he can pull it off..

and if he don't there is gonna be a lot of people mad...

Alex Pettyfer would be WAY better!

I just hope he covers up the British accent. I can't picture jaces witty remarks having one.
