After Filming
Frank made sure, after we were done filming Smooth Criminal, that he made a copy of it for me and Michael so we can catch any mistakes. Once Frank made the copy, he handed it to Michael.
"Here anda go, Michael and Rebecca. Alert me if there are any mistakes so we can finish it up." Frank said.
Michael took the disk and looked at Frank. "Thanks, Frank. Will do." He said.
Soon enough, Michael and I left and headed on back to Neverland. While we were walking home, we talked along the way about how we were gonna tell our families about our engagement...and our baby.
"I don't know, Michael...how am I gonna tell my family that I'm- well, we're gonna have a baby?" I asked.
Michael put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. "We'll think of something, Becka. Don't worry. Besides, we still have to tell them about our engagement, too."
I sighed. "I know, Mike. I just...I just don't know how they will react to me telling them about our child and our engagement."
"Your father was quite surprised."
I looked at Michael, a bit confused. "What do anda mean he was surprised?"
"Rebecca..." Michael and I stopped and he looked at me. He took my hands in his and sighed. "I had to ask your father for permission to marry you. I was afraid, at first, that he'd say I couldn't ask anda to marry me. He was surprised because I had to get permission from him to marry his only daughter."
My eyes went wide slightly and my jaw dropped a little. "Oh...my...God..."
"I was gonna tell anda at first, but-"
Michael was cut off oleh me hugging him tightly. He hugged me back just as tight and afraid he and I would break each other in half. He rubbed my back and kissed my head.
"You are the only guy who asked my dad for permission to marry me. You're just the sweetest, most kind and loving man I ever dated and ever will marry."
Michael smiled and lifted my head and looked at me. "You're the sweetest lady I ever dated. And..." He moved one of his hands and put it on my stomach. "You'll be the greatest wife and mother yet."
I smiled a little and put one of my hands on his hand. He then took my hand and we walked on home. People did see us and ran up to Michael, asking for an autograph and a picture. They even asked me for a picture and an autograph, which took me oleh surprise. Michael looked at me and saw me giving autographs and smiled a little. Once the fan left, we continued walking home, coming up with a way to tell both of our parents about the engagement and our child in our minds.
"Seems like you've got the famous part down, Becka." Michael giggled.
I giggled a little. "Seems like it. I wasn't expecting them to ask me for an autograph and a picture. I thought they only asked me because they saw me with you."
"That's what I thought. But anda like it, right?"
"Yeah. I could get used to it."
Michael giggled and put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. We then continued going home, just chatting about what we expected to see in Smooth Criminal and talking about Moonwalker.
Once At Home
When Michael and I arrived at home, we got inside and went into the bedroom. I went over to my dresser and got out my laptop and went back over to the tempat tidur and sat down. Michael sat selanjutnya to me, after taking his jaket off and undoing his tie and put the disk in and we started watching Smooth Criminal. So far, we didn't catch atau see any mistakes at all. I paused it and looked at Michael, a bit shocked.
"Wow, no mistakes so far." I told him.
"Yeah. That's what rehearsals will do to everyone." Michael said, giggling.
I giggled and we turned our heads back to the screen and continued watching it. The whole short film had no mistakes at all. It took us oleh surprise.
"Oh..." I said.
"My..." He said.
"God." We berkata at the same time.
Michael got up first and I put my laptop down on the ground and slid it under the bed. I got up and he and I walked around the room.
"I can't believe it...no mistakes..."
It was at that point that Michael and I looked at each other in shock.
"No mistakes!!"
I jumped into Michael's arms and hugged him and he hugged me back, giggling. We had this habit of saying the same things at the same time. It always made us giggle.
I looked at him. "It was perfect, like I told anda before."
He smiled and kissed me softly. "You were correct, Becka. I should never doubt what anda tell me."
I kissed him back and smiled a little. Then some of my hair got in my face.
"Ack, hair malfunction." I giggled a little.
Michael giggled and some of his hair got into his face. "Seems like your hair has a partner in crime." He giggled.
I giggled. "Would seem so, Michael." I moved his hair behind his ear and it made him giggle even more. I rolled my eyes. "Ticklish everywhere?"
"Pretty much, yeah, Rebecca."
I giggled a little and rolled my eyes again and shook my head. He then moved my hair behind my ear and put his hand on the back of my neck. He looked at me in the eyes.
"Are anda ready to tell your parents, well, your family?"
I took a deep breath and released it. "I think so. I just hope they'll support me like anda and your mother and brothers and sisters do. And I'm hoping my mom is keeping her promise of helping me."
Michael smiled a little and kissed my head. "They are your family. They should understand. Now, wanna call them atau visit?"
"As important as a visit is to my family...I think I should call them. Then tomorrow, I can visit them."
"Good. I'll call mine as well. Then get together with mother and Joseph sometime."
I looked at him and smiled a little and gave him a kiss. He kissed back and smiled a little, figuring that he'd call his family a little after I would call mine. I took my phone out and soon enough gave my family a call.
'Oh, I hope they react well...' I thought, waiting for them to answer.
At The House
My parents sat oleh the phone and waited for me to call them. My mom knew she'd have to be there for me and she swore she would. Then the phone rang and my parents checked the number and saw that it was me calling. They soon picked up and put me on speaker.
"Rebecca? Is that you?" My mom asked.
"Yes, it's me, mom. Who all is there? I hear myself on speaker." I said.
Alex chuckled. "Everyone's here, sis. We were expecting anda to call." He said.
"Well, okay. I have two things to tell anda guys..."
"What do anda need to tell us?" Eric asked.
"Well...Michael?"
They heard me pass my phone over to Michael. "I'd first like to thank Roy for the permission." Michael said.
"No problem." My dad said.
"What do anda mean?" Ricky asked.
Then they heard my phone being passed back to me. "Well, guys...Michael, about 6 weeks ago, proposed to me...and I berkata yes."
My mom gasped and so did my brothers. My dad was even shocked a bit.
"Michael? anda asked her the hari anda got my permission?"
"Yes, I did." Michael said.
"Smart move."
Michael giggled. "Thanks."
"What else is there to tell us?" My mom asked.
"Well...um...Alex, Ricky and Eric...you guys are gonna be uncles and mom and dad...you're gonna be grandparents."
"What do anda mean oleh this, Beck?" Alex asked a bit shocked.
I sighed a little. "I'm pregnant." My family went silent. I was curious, so I asked, "Is everyone alright?"
"Are anda toying with us, Rebecca Lynn?"
"I'm not, mom. I really am pregnant and this baby is here to stay."
"Do anda know its gender?"
"Dad, I won't, well Michael and I won't know the baby's gender for another 6 weeks."
"Okay then. Well, keep us updated on the wedding and gender, alright?"
"Will do. cinta anda guys. Bye."
"Love you, too. Bye." They all responded.
Then they hung up. My mom was still shocked and so were my brothers and my dad. Although, aside from how shocked they were...they were happy for me and Michael. They now knew that he and I were gonna have a child and we were gonna get married. They even came up with some names for the new addition to the family and thought that they would send it to me and Michael once they couldn't think of any other names.
Back At Neverland
I smiled, knowing that my family sounded rather excited to get a new family member. Heck, I was excited to have a child of my own and so was Michael. Michael called his parents and his brothers and sisters and told them the news as well...and I could tell they were just as excited as my family was. How? I heard them all (minus Joseph, of course, because it would seem so out of character for him) squeal with excitement. It honestly made me giggle a little. Once Michael got off the phone with his family, he put his phone on the charger and laid back on the bed. I sat down selanjutnya to him on the tempat tidur and he briefly sat up, got behind me and put his arms around me, putting his legs on either side of me. He rested his head on my shoulder and kissed my cheek. I giggled and looked at him and he looked back at me.
"Well, my family is excited." Michael said, giggling a little.
I giggled as well. "So is mine. I could tell your family was excited." I said.
"How?"
"I heard them squeal. Well, I heard all of them squeal, except for Joseph. I know he doesn't squeal atau embrace like everyone else."
Michael giggled a little. "Oh yeah. That's Joseph for us. And yes, my family does tend to squeal a bit loud."
"You do, too."
"Do not!"
"Do too, Mikey. Don't deny it."
Michael sighed in defeat and chuckled a little. "Okay, I do tend to squeal loud as well. Happy now, Kitten?"
I kissed him softly and smiled. "Yes, Cuddle-bear. And if it makes anda feel any better, I do the same."
He smiled and kissed me back. Then he laid back on the tempat tidur again, this time taking me with him. My back was to his chest and my head was selanjutnya to his. We finally told our families about our engagement and our child and promised them to keep them updated on both the wedding tanggal and the baby's gender. Soon, we both fell asleep, well started to take a nap. We were tired from filming and even watching the short film made us sleepy a bit. Tomorrow, we'd tell Frank what we caught (which was no mistakes whatsoever) and get it prepared to add the short film to Moonwalker, finally completing it.
