At the park, Jo found the tas, dompet quickly. "Wanna swing?" Jo asked Michael. Michael was looking behind her."Who's that lady?" He asked. Jo turned around and saw an old lady with cards. "Hello." Jo said. "Hello." The old lady berkata and shuffled her cards. "What are anda doing here?" Jo asked. "I have no home. But the real pertanyaan is
what are anda doing here?" She asked and handed Jo and Michael a card. Michael's card had a red head girl. Jo's card had a black dude with a afro in a jeruk, orange tux. "We gotta go. See ya later." Michael said.

They went back to their street. "You're so lucky to be a singer. I'm just a loser girl that has talent but hides it." Jo said. "No, you're lucky. anda problay have a father who loves you, anda problay got friends and no fan screaming
around you." Michael said. A tear came out of Jo's eye. "My dad's dead." She whispered. "What's your name?" Michael asked. "Jo Walters." Jo said. "See anda around." Jo berkata and walked away but keep smiling at him. He keep waving.


When Michael got back, he tippy toed to his bedroom and put his shoes of and went to bed. When Jo got home, her mom was nowhere to be found. Jo took one step and she felt someone slapping her. "Oh my goodness!" Jo yelled and covered her face. "IT'S 11! WHERE THE HECK HAVE anda BEEN?!" Jo heard her mom's voice. Jo didn't say anything. Her mom slapped her again and this time, Jo fell on the floor. "Have anda been out with some dude?" Mom asked. "No." Jo lied weakly. "I don't want anda out with strangers, young lady! Remeber how me and your dad met?!" Her mom yelled.

Her mom sneaked out to a club when she was 18, and met her dad there. When it was about 3:00, Jo's dad took her mom to his house. Mom never went back home. Her dad forced her to stay.
"Mom, your tas, dompet was hard to find. Nothing else happened. Plus it's dark." Jo lied. "I'll let anda go." Her mom berkata and pointed to her bedroom.Jo got up and went to her bedroom and got into a night gown. Washed her face then went to bed.

Michael sat on his tempat tidur thinking about Jo. "Why do I think of her SO much?" He asked himself. Janet came in.
"Maybe anda like her." She said. "Were anda easedropping?" Michael asked. "Yes, yes I was." Janet said. "Who's Jo?"

"She's a girl I met last night." Michael said. "Does she live around here?" Janet asked. "I don't know." Michael said.
He looked at the card that old lady gave her. It looked like Jo.

At school, Jo was talking to Rachlle at her locker. "So how was yesterday?" Rachlle asked. "It was amazing. Guess who I got to met." Jo said. "Diana Ross?" Rachlle guessed. "Swear to god anda won't tell anyone." Jo said."It is Diana Ross?" Rachlle asked. "No." Jo said. Jo leaned to Rachlle's ear. "Michael Jackson." Jo whispered. Rachlle screamed. "Sorry." Rachlle whispered. "So tell me all the details. Are anda in love? Just friends? Did anda give him my number?" Rachlle said. "No, he just help me cari for my moms purse. But we had a great talk." Jo said. Rachlle groaned. "What?!" Jo said. "A great talk? Plus what was he doing helping YOU?" Rachlle asked. The bell
ringed. "Tell anda at lunch." Jo berkata and left for class.
