Yes!!! Three Days Grace is mainly an Alternative Metal band and yes Alternative Metal is a genre of metal no matter what anyone says. Three Days Grace also does hard rock and post-grunge occasionally but their still mainly Alternative Metal. No they are not pop rock and not all metal bands scream. That is just a metal stereotype. Heavy Metal has many different genres and movements. Each genre of metal has different chracteristics. Ex. Metallic (Thrash Metal), Cannibal Corpse (Death Metal), Black Sabbath (Traditional Metal), Faith No lebih (Funk Metal), and daftar goes on and on. This is coming from a real Metalhead and a die hard Three Days Grace fan. Sorry for the long message but I had to my point across.
No, their band would just be rock/alternative. slipknot and disturbed are heavy metal bands oleh hearing the screaming in their songs, three days grace doesnt have that.

yeah, 3DG only screams in one part of i think maybe 2-3-4 of thier songs :oooo but they've gotten "harder" i guess anda could say...
Alternative metal, yes. I would class halaman awal as Heavy Metal because it has a lot of screaming and is pretty rough. Apart from that, no, they are hard rock/alternative metal
