I am gonna start with the facts about her very too soon death. Sometimes I think about how she felt: if she thought that she had actually rose above the bar of success in showbiz, but missed the family life she could never get, had she truly anyone to lean on, and to trust.

Her lower colon was bruised a dark purple indicative of an enema.High amount of barbiturates were found in her blood but no evidence of capsules found. No water atau liquid found in her room she would have gagged without water to wash all those pills down. There is too many inconsistencies. Marilyn was distrustful of her housekeeper ,She believed she was hired to spy on her oleh govt agency. Dr Greenson and Eunice are the ones who killed Marilyn oleh an enema which is one conclusion I see is possible, that's why Greenson was there. Many documentaries atau even interviews with people who once known her, had made her out to be a drug addict, first lefts get one thing straight, /The studio is the one to thank for Marilyn's drug use, They are the ones who started her on the drugs to keep her working longer hrs just as they did with Judy Garland, second, One crucial fact many documentaries...

In a heartbreaking Oct. 9, 1954, letter from Yankee legend DiMaggio, her detik husband, he begs her to come back halaman awal three days after she announced to the world that she was divorcing him.

"Marilyn, I keep membaca reports about anda being sick and naturally I'm concerned … I cinta anda and want to be with you. There is nothing I would like better than to restore your confidence in me so that I can help anda regain your once healthy self.

"My jantung membagi, split even wider seeing anda cry in front of all these people and looking as though anda were ready to collapse at any second."

He ends the letter oleh saying, "I can tell you, I cinta you, sincerely – way deep in my heart, irregardless of anything. Will anda call me tonight if anda should receive this letter oleh then? It will be happily received."

Says Nolan, "It's such a heartfelt, honest letter. Of course he wants her back but his first and number one concern unselfishly is her welfare. He is worried about her. That's a true cinta there."

Take a foto of Marilyn Monroe nearly anywhere in the world and she is instantly recognizable. Ask any stranger on the jalan, street who she is and they'll know.
Young and old, male and female, people spanning multiple generations know who Marilyn Monroe is and her fame spans decades, countries and cultures.
Marilyn is one of the most well known and enduring stars of all time, yet her name evokes in the general public not much lebih than blonde hair, breathy voice bernyanyi Happy Birthday, and a rok flying up over her knees. To the woman who pleaded not to be made a joke, the image of her that has permeated the
public consciousness is all but a caricature of the real, feeling, sensitive woman behind the icon. She was groundbreaking in many ways, an early feminist before there was even a word for it, and a well read and self educated woman. All this is often lost in mistaking her film characters as being who she really was and in focusing lebih on the mysterious circumstances of her death than on the compelling circumstances of her life. Too often under the mystery of conspiracy theories and the dismissal of her as just another...

anda know a lot of people have, oh gee, real quirky problems that they wouldn’t dare have anyone know. But one of my problems happens to show: I’m late. I guess people think that why I’m late is some kind of arrogance and I think it is the opposite of arrogance. I also feel that I’m not in this big American rush, anda know, anda got to go and anda go to go fast but for no good reason. The main thing is, I want to be prepared when I get there to give a good performance atau whatever to the best of my ability. A lot of people can be there on time and do nothing, which I have seen them do, and anda know, all sit around sort of chitchatting and talking trivia about their social life. Gable berkata about me, “When she’s there, she’s there. All of her is there! She’s there to work.”

Fortunately, to cheer her up, Hugo came to mind, and with a squeal she runs to the car, calls me to gabung her, and we’re off to get Hugo, who was getting a check-up at the local kennel. One could never tell oleh looking at him whether atau not these sudden reunions pleased him. His face would mask every emotion; like a great actor he kept anda guessing. At times—I had seen this reunion often—he would almost smile, but a stiff upper lip got in the way, leaving Hugo with nothing, absolutely nothing.

Hugo loves Marilyn, and she adores him. Beauty and the Beast—Hugo bore out this maxim perfectly. At the kennel, released, he stares at her for a moment, hesitates, comes forward, notices me and takes two steps backwards, stumbles, meneruskan, ke depan again, almost falls, takes a deep breath, and runs into her arms. She embraces him. “Hugo, how are you? You’re beautiful!” (The dog is ugly.) “Good dog, pretty dog, why don’t anda smile? You’re depressed, aren’t you?” (He was born depressed. My God, I think, Miller and DiMaggio often have that same look!) “Come, we’re going home, you’ll run around and see Arturo and have fun.” Hugo nods grimly and enters the car,...

Marilyn always loved and empathized with animals. Throughout her life she had a succession of pets, and she would be deeply affected if she ever came across an animal suffering atau the victim of cruelty.
This sensitivity was evident during her marriage to James Dougherty: when he once came halaman awal with a rabbit ready to skin and eat, Norma Jeane refused to touch the animal and was inconsolable for hours. Things were worse when he came halaman awal after a hunting trip with a deer that was still alive. Heartbroken, Norma Jean pleaded with him no to harm the mortally wounded creature, but it was already too late to save its life. One rainy hari Norma Jeane reputedly took pity on a neighbor’s cow tethered outside the house and tried to bring it into her own house so it could dry off. Dougherty was not amused and prevented this plan from being put into action. On Norma Jeane’s very first extended foto shoot in 1946, touring the California desert with Army photographed David Conover, she came across an injured terrier and insisted that they take it to a vet.

During her marriage to Arthur, Marilyn had two parakeets , Butch and Bobo. Norman Rosten wrote about Butch: “Marilyn calls to him (her); he sits on her shoulder, she coos and whistles, carries him to her lips, and ole Butch leans over and kisses her. ‘You’re a cute parakeet,’ Marilyn says to Butch. Butch loves to hear her voice, figuring she’s just as cute as a parakeet herself. I believe that Butch is in cinta with her.”

Marilyn loved Hugo, but the dog seemed perpetually depressed. Marilyn once tired to cheer him up oleh giving him a teaspoon of Scotch. Soon he “rapturously” ran across the room to her. She got down on her knees and hugged and kissed him, joking that “Hugo had made his psychic breakthrough.”

The Millers had other animals. Sugar Finney was a Siamese cat named after a character in a folk story. Ebony was a horse that the Taylors gave to them. Having so many binatang caused problems. “Hugo likes the cat,” Marilyn wrote, “but the cat doesn’t like him. And the cat and the birds get into conflicts.” She had to find a way to keep Sugar Finney away from Butch.

Honestly, I have no patience for people who seem to confuse Marilyn Monroe with the characters she played onscreen. Most people who do this have seen one of three roles - Lorelei in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Girl in The Seven tahun Itch, atau Sugar in Some Like It Hot, and - though they are only a fraction of her onscreen performances - those roles have typecast her into that ‘dumb blond’ stereotype (the fact is often overlooked that those women themselves are actually all unique in their own ways, portrayed with different layers oleh Marilyn, and none of them are stupid atau even one-dimensional, but I digress). She wasn’t just some bubble-headed, money/fame hungry, seductive star. I wish I could help to dispel that false perception, but even if I can’t, I want to write this anyway, and quote her own words (and words about her).

I think my favorit scene in My Week with Marilyn is when she asks, “Should I be her?" and she playfully launches into the public Marilyn persona for the cameras and the fans, because it felt like such a genuine moment. Many people who knew her would komentar on how she could simply turn it on, like a light, but even that outward...

“I think I had many problems as the selanjutnya starlet keeping the Hollywood serigala from my door. These serigala just could not understand me. They would tell me, ‘But Marilyn, you’re not playing the game the way anda should. Be smart. You’ll never get anywhere in this business akting the way anda do.’ My answer to them would be, ‘The only akting I’ll do is for the camera.’ I was determined, no one was going to use me atau my body—even if he could help my career. I’ve never gone out with a man I didn’t want to. No one, not even the studio, could force me to tanggal someone. The one thing I hate lebih than anything else is being used. I’ve always worked hard for the sake of someday becoming a talented actress. I knew I would make it someday if I only kept at it and worked hard without lowering my principles and pride in myself.” (Marilyn Monroe)

“Marilyn adored animals; she was drawn to all living things. She would spend hundreds of dollars to try to save a storm-damaged pohon and would mourn its death. She welcomed birds, providing pohon houses and food for the many species that visited her lawn; she worried about them in bad weather. She worried about anjing and cats. She once had a dog that was oleh nature contemplative, but she was convinced he was depressed. She did her best to make him play, and that depressed him even more; on the rare occasions when he did an antic pirouette, Marilyn would hug and ciuman him, delirious with joy.”

“I Will Be Loved”, a score oleh Michelle Shocked inspired oleh Monroe Painting oleh David Willardson

LOS ANGELES — Over fifty years after Marilyn Monroe’s untimely and unfortunate death, she still captivates the hearts of many, including Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Michelle Shocked, who has penned an as-yet-unrecorded song, “I Will Be Loved”, inspired oleh a portrait oleh fine-art painter David Willardson, who has captured the pop icon in a striking painting. Shocked has made the song available through her website for just $5.00 as limited-edition sheet musik with only 500 copies total.
“I always knew I would be beautiful if I were loved”, sings Shocked from the Marilyn-inspired song, “and I will be loved”.
Of course, fan know Marilyn Monroe as one of the most celebrated and enduring icon of all times. Although fan know Marilyn Monroe best as an actress, she also recorded at least three dozen songs related to the nearly 30 films she starred in.

There isn’t enough upper lip between the end of your nose and your mouth.
Emmeline Snively to Norma Jeane Dougherty

I got a cold chill. This girl had something I hadn’t seen since silent pictures.
She had a kind of fantastic beauty like Gloria Swanson, when a movie bintang had to look beautiful, and she got sex on a piece of film like Jean Harlow.
Leon Shamroy, on MM’s 1946 screen test

When anda look at Marilyn on the screen, anda don’t want anything bad to happen to her.
anda really care that she should be all right…happy.

Marilyn’s insecurities nearly screamed out of her. If she had an eight o’clock date, I had to be there at noon to start on her.
If I was two menit late she was furious, though she thought nothing of keeping others waiting for hours atau days.

Marilyn was a big supporter of the Civil Rights Movement. Ella Fitzgerald was one of Marilyn’s idols and a major inspiration. However, the Mocambo nightclub in West Hollywood, the most populer dance spot at the time, refused to let Ella perform there because she was black. Outraged, Marilyn told the owners that if they would let Ella perform, she would be there in the front row every time Ella was onstage. She did, and the two became friends.

“I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt… It was because of her that I played the Mocambo, a very populer nightclub in the ’50s. She personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front meja every night. She told him - and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status - that the press would go wild. The owner berkata yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard. After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman - a little ahead of her times. And she didn’t know it.” - Ella Fitzgerald

She had a baby in her teens. Marilyn never had any children. She’s had miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy that had to be terminated because it was too dangerous. There’s also myths that she had loads of abortions. This isn’t true either because it was so hard for her to get pregnant in the first place that if she got pregnant she would have wanted it because as a lot of people know, Marilyn always wanted to be a mother.
She had an affair with Tony Curtis. Tony Curtis and Marilyn highly disliked each other. Only after her death did he make a statement that they had a physical affair together.
She had an affair with Frank Sinatra. The only person that berkata this really happened was producer Milton Ebbins, and it is unknown whether it is true atau not because we obviously don’t have either Marilyn atau Frankie to ask. She was indeed friends with the tikus Pack though.
She had an affair with Joan Crawford. Marilyn was as straight as a post and there is absolutely no information except for gossip that she and Joan had sex.

lebih Than a Pretty Face.

Innocent, young, beautiful and smart
I think we should give her a head start
Hurry now before she grows old
Lets make her hot so she doesn’t turn cold

Who cares if she loves to read
It’s not her brains everyone wants to see
It doesn’t matter if she likes to bake bread
We’d rather see her naked in bed

She may be only a teen
But she’s definitely a beauty queen
We need her to be a major star
Money’s been good…but we need lebih oleh far

Don’t put her in a dramatic role
She’s supposed to be stupid and funny… that’s her goal
Lets take pictures… thousands if we can
She’ll be in every newspaper, commercial and magazine scan

Who cares if she’s lonely… she’s a millionaire
She makes men happy and we get money, it’s only fair
She better stop crying…she HAS TO SMILE
If she doesn’t, then we’ll send her away for awhile

Marilyn Monroe was a legend.

In her own lifetime she created a myth of what a poor girl from a deprived background could attain. For the entire world she became a symbol of the eternal feminine. But I have no words to describe the myth and the legend. I did not know this Marilyn Monroe.

We, gathered here today, knew only Marilyn - a warm human being, impulsive and shy, sensitive and in fear of rejection, yet ever avid for life and reaching out for fulfillment. I will not insult the privacy of your memory of her - a privacy she sought and treasured - oleh trying to describe her whom anda knew to anda who knew her. In our memories of her she remains alive, not only a shadow on a screen atau a glamourous personality.

For use Marilyn was a devoted and loyal friend, a colleague constantly reaching for perfection. We shared her pain and difficulties and some of her joys. She was a member of our family. It is difficult to accept that her zest for life has been ended oleh this dreadful accident.

“I wish I had one tenth of Marilyn’s cleverness,” berkata akting coach Natasha Lytess. “Whenever I arrived at her Doheny Drive apartment, she was studying.”

Monroe in her last foto session, for LIFE magazine, a bulan before she died. She cared little for things and owned no jewelry. “I’m not interested in money,” Monroe once told an agent. “I just want to be wonderful.”

Eight months before her death Marilyn Monroe discovered a Spanish-style house in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. She traveled to Mexico in February 1962, enthusiastically searching shops in Cuernavaca, Taxco, Toluca and Acapulco for fabrics, furniture and tiles for her new home.

Marilyn donated time and/or money to:

An orphanage Marilyn visited during her 1962 trip to Mexico- she ripped up her initial check of $1000 and donated $10,000.

A children’s welfare organization that gave free breakfasts to underprivileged youngsters- a donation of $1000.

The susu Fun for bayi in 1957- Marilyn decided to give earnings from the world premiere of The Prince and the Showgirl to this charity.

A 1953 benefit for underprivileged children at Jude’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee-singing with Jane Russell at the Hollywood Bowl.

Among friends and colleagues, Marilyn was renowned for her generosity in helping people wherever she could; stand-in Evelyn Moriarty remembers Marilyn making an anonymous donation of $1,000 to a crew member on Let’s Make cinta (1960) who needed the money to cover funeral expenses for his wife.

Goodbye Norma Jean
Goodbye Norma Jean
Though I never knew anda at all
anda had the grace to hold yourself
While those around anda crawled
They crawled out of the woodwork
And they whispered into your brain
They set anda on the treadmill
And they made anda change your name

chorus
And it seems to me anda lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

Loneliness was tough
The toughest role anda ever played
Hollywood created a superstar
And pain was the price anda paid
Even when anda died
Oh the press still hounded you
All the papers had to say
Was that Marilyn was found in the nude

[repeat chorus]

Goodbye Norma Jean
Though I never knew anda at all
anda had the grace to hold yourself
