Speed dating... Not my thing. I'm not nearly social enough for them. And I think it's a bit pathetic - speed dating. It's like, if you can't find a boy/girlfriend on your own, try speed dating!

And as Hellohoudini said, why would you go somewhere to try to get a date if there's someone else you like?

^ Taking a group of men and a group of women and rotating them in intervals of a few minutes so that all the men meet all the women and vice versa. Kinda like having two circles, one inside the other, and rotating say, the inner circle. All the people on the inside meet all the people on the outside.The point of it is to meet a lot of people in a short period of time and hopefully hit it off with a person or two, scoring some dates.
