how wasn't Richard Surprised oleh seeing Jack and Hurley when he Watched them all die back in 1977?

Richard knew that they were jumping through time. That's the only explanation I have.

What do anda mean he watched them all die? He didn't see them die.. we don't even know what happened when the bomb went off and they jumped through time. Maybe they just vanished, who knows.
He also knows events on the island can't be explained sometimes, he doesn't seem to be surprised oleh much at this point.

He berkata that he watched them all die in season 5 episode "Follow the leader",when Sun asked him about them.
