Could the Pop Diva also be a fashion designer?
Fashionista Lady Gaga is creating her own fashion line, atau that's the rumor anyhow. The singer wouldn't be doing it alone, but collaborating with her look-alike little sister, Natali Germanotta, on the new venture.
Baby Gaga, as she's also known, studied at New York City's Parsons, the New School of Design, so aside from being Mother Monster's flesh and blood, she's qualified for the job.
The line is supposed to be "relatively normal and wearable."....what? no meat dresses?
She’s an advocate of high-end fashion couture but now Lady Gaga is bernyanyi the praises of designer knock-offs, too.
Gaga revealed that she bought counterfeit designer gear on last month’s trip to Japan.
“In Tokyo, they have all these stores that have fake Chanel and Versace,” she said. “And I’m an Italian from New York, so I still buy it. This jaket is a fake.”
Gaga was talking to a group of fan in the US last week and advised them to go shopping in thrift stores and customise their own purchases rather than shell out their life savings on expensive garb.
Interestingly, she vowed last June to wear nothing but Versace for two months as she was having a “love affair” with Donatella’s designs. Looks like the cinta affair may be over now.
