I'm neutral -- Global warming, to me, is getting silly (debate-wise). Not everybody agrees on it and any scenario could go on it. Regardless, the environment is important...whether people want to care for it or not.

Even if you don't think Global warming is as bad as it's made out to be, you should still take the same precautions & measures to stop it because (a) it could be. & (b) these steps help in other aspects of environmental wellbeing.

I'm trying to prevent it, though it's impossible to not do things that are bad for the environment.

I'm trying to prevent it because this is something really serious and we have to take care of our only home, earth!!! even if you don't believe in global warming.

soo many people take the earth 4 granted. take my sister 4 example. always leaving the TV on.

I hate how people are only acting a lot more now because of this theory. It's a scientific theory and there's much proof to it being untrue. The Earth's temperature changes dramatically every twenty years. And then people go suing a scientist for saying so!??? COME ON!!!

I've always cared for the environment. It's all that matters, global warming or no global warming. They both deal with the same thing anyways.

i think this answer is badly worded, but for me, a) people should care about preserving the environment regardless of whether there is a global crisis or not and b) if you care about the environment, you should damn well care about global warming.

Global warming is a scary thought, we need to prevent it =)

either way the environment is important. we need to save wild locations, and prevent them from disappearing. i still want to prevent global warming, but to me the environment is most important.

@The two above me. Well, he's right about human beings... We pretty much will do anything to survive... That's why there are more fans of the Justin Bieber club, than of this club, because people can be incredibly selfish and care only about what they want to.

However, I must agree about the answer as well. It IS terribly worded. I think global warming is somewhat over exaggerated, myself, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't at least try and do something about all of the toxic fumes that are going into the atmosphere. But, my views on the environment (which is not the correct term for it... It is the 'natural environment', which sums up the whole of the biosphere, essentially and the term 'environment' is broad and used in geography, often meaning human-made environments) are very different to many others. I simply believe that humans could be doing more, but we aren't... I think it partially is a result of capitalism, as well as the fact that humans are just very selfish creatures when they wish to be. Therefore, I doubt we will ever be able to truly save Gaia... (my self-imposed religion states that 'Gaia' is the God who created this world... however, if you are religious, just remember that those are my beliefs... I have mine and you have yours... you don't comment about mine and I won't comment about yours... Fair's fair). This irritates me, because we probably could if we wanted... we've got the technology and we've got the passion of plenty of brilliant minds... It's simply all of these big corporations that make money from being 'not-green' and causing damage to Gaia, as well as using up our precious resources much faster than what we probably need to. Basically, there are lot's of problems that are causing damage to nature, or contributing to the way that humans think about the nature, and anything associated with nature/Gaia.

@dada. And, yet, there's so much proof that shows that the climate began warming around the same time that the Industrial Revolution began... pretty coincidental, really, isn't it? However, I am not willing to discount the theories of these climatologists and environmental scientists that have clearly done the research and are most likely right. Plus, scientists pointed out that human activity accounted for most of it, not all of it, as well as pointing out that the planet undergoes natural warming periods every so often in the history of the planet, though not the 'every 20 years' you pointed out.
