It’s funny you should speak of minutes, because one thing to come out of the episode is the sad fact that ol’ Lucas is a “two-minute man” – and at the worst time, too. A few other tidbits from the very engaging, Lisa Edelstein-tastic hour: Cuddy has Isabel Allendes’ ‘Inés of My Soul’ on her nightstand; she starts her day off with yoga (and is very bendy); and she’s as obsessive with her Blackberry as I am with mine. “Huddy” fans, meanwhile, may enjoy Cuddy’s reaction to House getting a shirtless rubdown by a buxom blonde. Could this possibly mean that this episode is going to end with the Huddy make-out? I don't want to get my hopes up..

I seriously doubt that will happen. Are these Ausiello spoilers (Sorry, I can't read spoiler sites at work)? If they are, I'd be VVVEEERRRYYY suspicious. Ausiello has proven this season that his spoilers tend to be very overblown.

Funny about the "two-minute man", tho. I was actually thinking right before I opened this page that maybe they'd work that in there since they mentioned she has a shower scene with Lucas. It reminds me of that fanfic on FF.net called "She's Not Getting Any".

Already in this post, I've said that Ausiello's spoilers tend to be misleading. So far, they have been misleading in a negative way as they pertain to Huddy. Who's to say they can't be misleading in a positive manner relating to Huddy? Allow me to explain:

So the spoiler was released that she has a shower scene with Lucas (or similar). All of us Huddies imagined the worst possible scenario since we have been kicked and abused this season. But what if some good could come out of it? For example, sure, she has a shower scene with Lucas. But what if this shower scene reveals that Lucas isn't doing a good job of "satisfying" Cuddy? That would be a good thing, right?

I'm excited for the episode as it will give us a chance to peer a little deeper into Cuddy. My hope is that we'll get to see a little bit of her more private feelings, possibly towards House. Of course, it could go either way. This episode has the possibility of being wonderful or disastrous for Huddy. And after 6x13 with House restraining himself from getting sucked in to Lucas' game, I think it could be good.

Of course, they could just ignore Huddy like they have been (for the most part) this season.

I agree about not getting our hopes up, but godd@mn if it ain't hard not to.

What does "at the worst time" mean? Morning or evening or lunch break, while she's upset with the hospital problems? However, even two minutes seem like forever to me. That kiss she gave Lucas at the end of "Moving..." made me eat an entire chocolate. ENTIRE!

Here is how i see it: from the promo, she obviously has a horrible day, in which her career hangs in the balance. From the promo, there are a lot of Huddy games and a sweet truthful Huddy moment, in the car - my guess is, she is giving up and trying to leave, House goes after her in the parking lot and stops her. When he stops her, he says "this place needs you". Again, my guess is he also says something personal, like "I need you too" or "Please don't leave" - or maybe even better:), after which he offers her his help to solve the damn hospital issue.
So I can clearly see a highly positive Huddy ending, and I'm not saying necessarily sex or make out. It could be something emotionally great, something sweet and tender, like a hug or a caress or hand holding in the end, after she thanks him for the help and support.
Best outcome of this scenario: she realizes how much he's changed.

DB, my take is that "at the worst time" is in reference to Lucas being a "two-minute man". To me, this is saying that Lucas doesn't last very long in the sack. Another possible term of endearment we could use here is "two-pump chump". Are you getting what I am driving at?

If you watch the promo for next weeks episode you will see that house is getting a massage from some blonde chick in his office and he is shirtless but with a sheet over him so i think thats what they are referring to but im not sure..

LW, i understood what the "two minutes" thing means - if that is meant in the literal sense and it's not some screwed up metaphor for smth else, then I'm sorry for Cuddy and hopeful for Huddy - I clearly remember the hints House gave about his sexual skills - being able to give two women at a time simultaneous orgasms and the "horse who had his face on your breasts for an hour and a half":)))))))

So what i understand from "two minutes man, and at the worst time too" is this: two minutes is the duration that Lucas is capable of (!), while "at the worst time" means the choice of momentum, which literally would mean that Luddy sex is at a bad time in Cuddy's day (perhaps he interrupts her work with a "surprise", perhaps the shower sex takes place while she should be doing something else or perhaps he initiates sex while she's thinking about House - this is a version I hate, because i really wish the Luddy sex is in the beginning of the episode and the rest is less Luddy and more Huddy).

These are all naughty and fun speculations, but let the fun alone, what i think really happens is this: Lucas and Cuddy start having sex during her morning shower, but it only lasts two minutes because it's a bad timing, as they are interrupted by a phonecall announcing the trouble at the hospital.

I hope these two minutes I am not gonna see tongues 'cause I could pass out right away! I am hoping for the scene to fade out....XD

DB, are you sure you're not some retired "House" writer or something? Because that sounds EXACTLY like something they would do (mislead us with a spoiler). Now that you mention it, I too am intrigued by their addition of "at the worst time" to the already obvious "two-minute man" comment.

I'm with you on how it'll play out. I want to believe that the "two-minute man" thing is a direct comment on Lucas' sexual prowess (or lack thereof) and not that they have sex for 2 mins and are then interrupted (which, admittedly, sounds more likely). For some reason, the thought of Lucas just being a total loser in the sack makes me smile.

This spoiler could go either way, but I know which way I want it to go. Hopefully it is something they can at least build on later in the season/series. Something like when/if Huddy finally happens, they revisit the fact that Lucas was inadequate in bed while House is "the man". Or something like that. The thought of Cuddy writhing in pleasure under House is so much more pleasant than under Lucas...

LW, i'm with you there! My stomach cannot tolerate the thought of Cuddy melting down to Lucas on a sexual basis. Lucas is the guy that helps her with Rachel, House is the guy that makes her lose her mind with passion, and let's not get things confused.

My only issue is that Lisa said she has not filmed any Huddy scenes yet...so unless she is lying, I doubt that there would be any Huddy.

I like that song too, and maybe she is by herself when it is being played, thinking about what she is missing, but none of the spoilers seem to indicate that sooooo....who knows. Hope I don't sound totally like a downer. I am optimistic, but not a whole lot about Huddy yet. I believe it will come eventually. I also think they released the first 4 minutes so that the Huddies would watch. ; )
