It was 8 o’clock at night and Cuddy was taking a break from looking after her new baby girl. Taking time off work was so relaxing, even if she had to get up 10 times a night to feed and change Emily.

Cameron and Chase hadn’t seen each other in 2 whole weeks. The workload Cameron was diberikan the responsibility of was too much for her to handle, and she was being swamped under. House had found Cameron’s inability to take hold of the reigns while Cuddy was away to be extremely annoying.

(Wilson was in the staff room; he was carrying a huge berwarna merah muda, merah muda beg with a fairy berwarna merah muda, merah muda teddy beruang inside.)

House: Feeling lonely at night?

(Wilson gave a sarcastic smile at House.)

Wilson: I’m stopping off at Cuddy’s before I go home; you’re welcome to gabung me if anda like?

House: I dunno.

(Wilson put the bag down, and sighed at House.)

Wilson: anda haven’t even seen them yet. I don’t care when anda go, just. Go.

(Wilson left with the huge bag. Leaving a frustrated looking House alone.)

(The team were conducting a differential, when House walked in and hung his mantel up on the stand.)

Kutner: I saw Cuddy and the kid yesterday. Looked pretty cute.

Taub: The cuteness fades once anda change you’re 100th diaper.

(Thirteen smiled slightly.)

Kutner: Cuddy was asking for anda House. Seemed important.

Taub: anda know anda really should get anda pipes fixed House.

(Taub got up and left whilst Kutner smirked.)

House: Just for that anda can go and do the genital swabbing down in the clinic.

(Kutner’s smirk faded in an instant, and he soon left with his head hung low.)

Thirteen: What about Foreman and me?

House: Foreman is helping the weakling, formally known as Cameron downstairs.

Thirteen: So—

(House went quiet before having a thought.)

House: So. We’re going to pay a visit to the real dean of medicine.

(House left with Thirteen in toe.)

(House and Thirteen pulled up outside Cuddy’s halaman awal in House’s car.)

Thirteen: So, what’s the reason why we’re here? Please tell me you’re finally going to shower.

(House looked at Thirteen who was standing a fair amount away from House.)

(House knocked on the door.)

(There was a faint sound of crying in the background. Cuddy answered the door; she didn’t look dishevelled like House expected her to look like. Instead, Cuddy was radiant and happy with a beaming smile when she finally saw House.)

Thirteen: Hi.

Cuddy: Hi, what are anda two doing here?

Thirteen: Where’s the baby girl?

(Cuddy showed her the way to Emily’s room. Thirteen swiftly walked past Cuddy, who was still standing in the doorway looking up at House who looked uncomfortable at going into her home.)

Cuddy: Are anda going to come in?

Thirteen: Err, she’s crying.

(Cuddy stood their staring up at House, both of their eyes burning with desire.)

(Cuddy then turned around and made her way to Emily’s room.)

(House made the giant step of entering Cuddy’s House for the first time after he kissed her a couple of months prior.)

Cuddy: Here, let me hold her.

(Thirteen passed Emily to Cuddy who was shushing her before cradling her with a huge smile on her face.)

House: So when are anda coming back?

Cuddy: I’m surprised your not loving Cameron being in charge.

House: Its not as fun.

(Cuddy gave a funny look at House as he stood close to her.)

Cuddy: When was the last time anda showered?

House: Scent of a man! I know anda haven’t experienced it sober.

(Thirteen stayed in the background with a small smile on her face.)

Cuddy: Very funny.

House: anda little stinker is living up to her name.

Thirteen: Do anda want me to change her?

Cuddy: Thanks.

(Cuddy passed her to Thirteen who left both House and Cuddy alone.)

House: So this is working out for anda then?

(Cuddy was making herself busy putting baby clothes away.)

Cuddy: Yeah it is. They let me name her for legal purposes, its only temporary though.

(House observed Cuddy, who still had a smile on her face.)

House: I bet its just bunga and candy, but how long will it last before anda want lebih than just a baby.

(Cuddy stopped and stood in front of him.)

House: Don’t tell me that this is what anda want, because I know anda want lebih than a kid to call your own-always have and always will do.

Cuddy: I know it may be hard in your little bubble of yours to see others having a life-get over it, pindah on.

House: I know I can, I don’t know about anda though.
(Cuddy stood there and looked up at House. Surprised that House could see through the façade of her portrayal of a happy family unlike everyone else.)

Cuddy: I tried.

(House looked into Cuddy’s eyes, and conveyed so much emotion and hope, which was hanging onto every word she was saying.)

Cuddy: But I won’t.

(House and Cuddy both smiled with their eyes at each other, when Thirteen walked back in with Emily and put her in the crib.)

(Cuddy’s attention immediately focused on Emily, while House was left looking at how comfortable Cuddy was.)

Thirteen: She’s adorable.

Cuddy: She sure is.

(Cuddy laughed softly as she held Emily’s hand in the crib.)

House: Come on, let’s go.

(Thirteen left ahead of House. House looked back at Cuddy who didn’t notice him, before she turned round and noticed he wasn’t walking the way he usually does.)

Cuddy: House, wait a second.

House: What?

(Cuddy gestured to his leg.)

Cuddy: You’re walking differently.

House: Yeah, it doesn’t hurt as much as usual.

Cuddy: Have anda told anyone?

House: Don’t worry; it’ll come back as soon as you’re dean of medicine again.

(House left, leaving Cuddy puzzled until a slight smile came across her face. Was House’s leg hurting less because she was happy?)

(Wilson turned up after work again, and Cuddy invited him into to chitchat.)

Wilson: So things look good then?

Cuddy: Yeah, they say I can keep her an extra bulan atau so.

(Wilson sat down at the counter in Cuddy’s kitchen, and she gave him a glass of wine.)

Cuddy: Did House tell anda anything about his leg?

(Wilson put the glass of wine down and looked concerned at Cuddy.)

Wilson: No, why? What’s wrong?

Cuddy: He was here today and was walking ‘better’ than usual. Saying his pain wasn’t painful like it usually is.

(Wilson had an ‘A-ha!’ moment.)

Wilson: I’ll find out.

(It was the selanjutnya morning and Wilson confronted House in his office.)

Wilson: Saw Cuddy last night. What’s wrong with the leg?

(House looked down and then back up at Wilson.)

House: Its nothing. It just hurts less.

Wilson: I know its not because its getting better.

House: You’re an oncologist, your not supposed to burn all hope.

Wilson: It hurts less because anda are actually happy for Cuddy, which means anda cinta her.

(There was a silence.)

Wilson: Wait, no sarcastic retort? Insensitive words?

House: You’re right.

Wilson: Seriously?

House: No.

(Wilson knew he was right and smirked.)

Wilson: anda know House. You’re not alone in thinking that this isn’t the only thing Cuddy wants.

(House looked up at Wilson who walked slowly towards House’s meja tulis, meja and sat opposite him.)

Wilson: Cuddy wants more.

House: The only thing lebih than unconditional love—is a relationship.

(House spoke in a sombre mood, whilst Wilson observed.)

House: Cuddy doesn’t just need it; like she so often shows when wearing her low cut tops. She deserves it. This baby thing is as useful as an under-wire on Cameron. Someone needs to tell her.

Cuddy: Tell me what?

(Wilson turned around and House looked up at Cuddy who looked nervous as she stood in the doorway of House’s office.)
