Silence prevailed since the moment those three words were uttered oleh Cuddy. Three words, one pertanyaan that neither House could answer nor Cuddy could figure out what lies selanjutnya if he had answered. The wordless moment brought not only clashing emotions but an uneasy atmosphere. He wanted to say something, just to calm things down but again he doesn't know where to start, too bad she feels the same way.
The silence already took their two hours together and within that span of time, it was only their eyes that did all the talking. Until Cuddy can't hold it no longer so she blurted out after closing the food closet.
Cuddy: I think I better get ----
The scene in front of her the moment she turned back made her kneel in front of House. He's rubbing his bum leg, a first before Cuddy's eyes after months of not seeing such.
Cuddy: Are anda okay?
House: Yah... I'm fine...
Cuddy: Take your hand off...
House did what he was told. Her words were filled with concern and her touch were nothing but a proof of deep care. He was looking at Cuddy as she gently rubbed his thigh.
Cuddy: How long have anda been feeling this? --- anda didn't ----
House: I am not telling anda because it's just now that I am feeling this...
Cuddy sighed and stood up.
Cuddy: anda go get some rest... I'll tell Rick about this...
House:<stubbornly said> No...
Cuddy gave him a look with one eyebrow arch that made him nod in agreement before looking back at her who just went out of the room.

Few menit later, Cuddy was seated right in front of Pitt in his office. She had her arm on the armrest and rested her head on her palm as Pitt told her about House's condition.
Cuddy: This is my fault, I should have ---
Pitt: <stammered> Wait, I didn't say anda caused this decline...
Cuddy rolled her eyes before standing up and began moving uncertainly in the office.
Pitt: Lisa, there's no such thing as perfect rehab and therapy, forgod's sake... And... Even if House is a doctor... He isn't spared from that factual reality of life… Everybody fails…
Cuddy: He can’t… handle such failure…
Pitt: He could, as long as you’re there… ---- Your relationship had ----
Cuddy stopped and looked at Pitt directly into his eyes.
Cuddy: There’s no relationship…
Pitt’s eyes grew wider and were filled with “what the hell are anda talking about” look as a few menit of silence were created between them.
Pitt: What… do anda mean there’s no relationship? ---- anda don’t call your fervent visitation, your deep care to each other not a relationship?
Cuddy: I don’t know okay? I don’t know…
Pitt: Lisa, if you’re wrong about this “not in a relationship” theory, all you’re doing is crashing him down… ---- You’re letting him expect something at the end…
Cuddy: Even if we really are in a relationship, his chart already proved I have my share on his downfall and that’s making him worse…
Pitt sighed as Cuddy began walking out. He called her name that made her stop oleh the doorway while looking back at him.
Pitt: I know anda wanted that relationship too… You’re not just hurting him, you’re hurting yourself too... Don’t do it…
Cuddy didn’t answer him instead she began walking through the empty hallway out of Mayfield.

Meanwhile in House’s room, he was lying down as what had been ordered oleh Cuddy. He was staring at the ceiling when Daniel entered with a bag of bir at hand and that caught his attention.
House: What are anda doing here?
Daniel: Thought I could check anda out.
Daniel sat on the chair beside the tempat tidur as House sit up and catch a can tossed oleh his friend which he just placed oleh his nightstand.
Daniel: Did anda just snob a $5 bir I gave you?
House: I don’t drink…
Daniel: Seriously atau are just tempting me to pour this can filled bir to you?
House stood up and went to drink some water, certain with the idea that he won’t drink the alcohol because he knew the moment Cuddy learned if he did, he is beyond dead. Daniel, on the other hand, began to take a sip from the can.
Daniel: Rick told me about your noble gesture to the kid…
House: What kid?
Daniel: Cuddy’s kid…
House: <sighed> It’s nothing… I did it for my mother not for her…
Daniel: What makes anda think I am thinking that anda did it for Cuddy?
House looked at Daniel as his friend’s eyes narrowed and had his can pointing to him.
Daniel: Automatic insight! --- Oh boy, you’re in a big big trouble!
House rolled his eyes and sat down on the chair far enough from Daniel.
Daniel: Your mind is full of Cuddy that’s the reason why anda thought I was thinking anda did it for her! --- Why suddenly anda want kids… wait… anda want kids?
Daniel paused and was ready to crack out in case House says yes but the doctor didn’t and was seemingly losing words to defend himself again. He placed his can oleh the meja beside him and was brought to a lebih serious phase between them.
Daniel: Yes… anda do want kids… but only with Cuddy and no one else…
House looked at him and a single nod confirmed everything.
