It was Lisa’s final tahun at the universitas of Michigan, and had decided to specialise in Endocrinology when she graduated as a doctor. As she entered her dorm, she threw her bag on her tempat tidur in frustration at knowing she wasn’t puncak, atas of her class; something she was used to being.
Her long brown curly hair pinned at the back, as sighed and walked over to her desk; it was and old detik hand meja tulis, meja from an old friend.
Before she unpacked all her buku and things from home, she overheard a motorcycle revving outside. Jumping to her feet to look out, she saw a tall athletic man take off his helmet; dark blue jeans, with army boots and a loose kemeja buttoned up halfway.
Dark clouds appeared, and hid the sun as she looked inquisitively at this young man who didn’t seem to draw any attention from anyone else except her. Mesmerised oleh his slightly here nor there beard, and rugged look she wasn’t expecting him to look up at her; but her did. His piercing baby blue eyes held her zamrud, emerald green eyes, until she pulled away. When she looked back, he was gone.
Checking her watch, she saw it was ten menit until her Immunology lecture. She spilled all the contents of her backpack onto her bed, searching for her notebooks and pen; before she left in a hurry.
Her bare legs, in a mid-length flimsy black dress and white sandals; as she left her dorm building, it began to rain. Running across the grassy field and into the building opposite, she got caught up in the crowd of freshman going the other way. Desperate to get to class on time she pushed her way through; shouting for them to get out of her way, until she got inside the tall kuno building. As she neared her class; she noticed the same young man she had seen just 15 menit prior. Standing out like a sore thumb, he wasn’t tampilkan any emotion as he walked behind the dean; he walked past her, without acknowledging her existence but what she didn’t know was that as she carried on to her class, he looked back.
Time flew by, and as she was walking back to her dorm all she could hear was whispers of a transfer student from Johns Hopkins University. When she got back to her building she joined her usual group of friends; and all they where talking about was this ‘rebel’.
Lisa: What are we all talking about?
Vanessa: This new boy. Apparently he was kicked out of Johns Hopkins for cheating.
Kellie: How dumb was that.
Lisa paused, before she sat on the edge of one of the lounge chairs.
Lisa: Wait. Is he tall, looks like a sporty guy with those big blue eyes?
Nathan: So he’s good at sports, the guy’s a loser. He probably didn’t even want to be a doctor.
Kellie: Actually, he was in my Nephrology class this morning and anda wouldn’t believe the radical ideas he was having. Even though he’s got the brains, he’s a real pain in the ass.
Vanessa: He rejected anda didn’t he?
Kellie: He’s a pain in the ass.
Lisa smiled, but tried to hide it.
Lisa: Do anda know what else he’s taking?
Kellie: Infectious diseases, some basic recap stuff and Endocrinology.
Lisa pondered for a moment before she got up, and made her way to the Admin office looking for her Endocrinology tutor.
Prof. Anderson: Lisa! Welcome back. I heard anda did really well in the Final.
Lisa: Good, but not great. But that’s not why I wanted to talk to you.
Prof. Anderson: Oh? Well, what’s the problem?
Lisa: I was wandering if anda maybe had a spot left in the Endocrinology class.
Prof. Anderson: Lisa, anda don’t need to carry on with it; anda got way above the average.
Lisa: I could just audit the class. Maybe this time I’ll come first.
Prof. Anderson: I’m reluctant Lisa, but I see no problem with it. First class is tomorrow afternoon don’t be late!
Prof. Anderson walked away smiling, and Lisa spun round and made her way to the school cafeteria.
As she was looking for the buah-buahan cup, she spotted him sitting alone in the corner. He was stalking everybody with his eyes, as he played with his plate of food. Always the optimist, Lisa decided to introduce herself.
Lisa: Hi.
Greg didn’t look up straight away, his eyes where still focused somewhere else. It was only when Lisa pulled the chair back to sit down, that he looked up and never looked away.
Lisa: Wow.
Greg: What?
Lisa: anda really are everything they berkata anda where.
Lisa opened her buah-buahan cup, as House kept his focus on her. Curious as to what they where telling her, he decided to speak with her instead of ignoring her like he did with others who tried to start up a conversation.
Greg: Not that I care. What have they been telling you?
Lisa: If anda don’t care, then why did anda ask?
Greg: I asked what they where telling you.
Lisa looked up at him, startled at first oleh his piercing blue eyes burning right through her.
Lisa: That you’re an ass. That anda where kicked out from your last school for cheating. You’re arrogant, rude, restless and frustrated.
Greg: Quite a daftar anda got there.
Lisa: I added the last four things. They were my first impressions of you.
As she got back to eating her fruit, Greg looked down with a grimace.
Greg: You’re full of yourself, but you’re also very smart. Smart enough to know everything about everything and everyone; something which anda hate about yourself. However, you’re stupid for hiding your intelligence to fit in with other people; people whom anda know you’re better than.
Lisa sat back a little, while Greg expected her to get up and leave like everyone else, she leaned in and smiled.
Lisa: anda just thought of that?
Greg: I’m good at membaca people.
As she went back to her food, Greg carried on watching her. While a secret smile appeared on his face.
Lisa: So what classes are anda doing?
Greg: Nephrology, Infectious Diseases and Endocrinology.
Lisa: That’s weird; I’m doing the same Endocrinology class.
Greg: Great.
Greg left with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, whilst Lisa turned around and watched him leave. It wasn’t just his looks that attracted her to him, but his mind and the way he thought. He was so ahead of her time, it was refreshing to her.

I was membaca up on opiate withdrawal and apparently anda can go through withdrawal not just to stop taking the drug, Vicodin in House’s case, but to reduce the amount you’re taking.
So in House’s case, like Wilson said; his Vicodin levels where way to high and so the only option was to let his body recover and reduce it’s need for that amount it got everyday.
Therefore, the selanjutnya morning when he was seemingly better; it was because of the extreme cold-turkeyness that House used to reduce his levels of Vicodin in order for his hallucination of Amber to go away. So I don’t think it was a hallucination, because he hasn’t quit Vicodin, he has only reduced the amount he takes within the luar angkasa of a horrible 24 jam detox. His body no longer craves the Vicodin every jam atau so like before.
Short and simple :)
