Cuddy was in her office, when Wilson walked in.

Wilson: anda paged me?

Cuddy: I wanted to talk to anda about House.

(Wilson sat down and had a look of regret on his face.)

Cuddy: Why did anda bring Amber up? It can’t be healthy, for either of you.

Wilson: It just came out. Why does he feel guilty for Kutner’s death but not Amber’s?

(Cuddy looked distressed.)

Cuddy: So telling someone, who is known for being their own worst enemy, that they should feel guilty is a good thing?

Wilson: Where is he now?

Cuddy: He went home.

(Wilson stood there in silence.)

Meanwhile… House was at home; the curtains were drawn and he had finished nearly half a bottle of scotch. House put his glass on the meja in front of him before he sat back on the sofa.

Amber: Still can’t sleep?

House: You’re a little late, if this is a guilt trip.

(Amber put her hands on her hips, the as House looked to the right she was suddenly sitting selanjutnya to him.)

Amber: Why is it that Kutner needs to die, before anda feel guilty about me?

House: So, what you’re saying is for me to feel guilty about Kutner I need Thirteen to get killed off.

(House poured another glass of scotch.)

Amber: You’re just going to keep drinking?

House: It’s the reason why you’re here, and I also enjoy it.
(House took another sip, whilst Amber moved to the lone chair to the side of him.)

Amber: It won’t work.

House: What won’t work?

Amber: anda want to sleep right? Drinking won’t help. You’re hallucinating me because of the drinking, the insomnia gives me that extra kick.

House: This is obviously because of the chat I had with Wilson, so if anda don’t mind…

(House gestured for Amber to leave.)

Amber: anda act like anda want to be alone. This proves that anda don’t want to, but anda feel anda need to be alone.

House: Great, lebih psychoanalysis crap.

Amber: I’m you, albeit a hotter version, but what I’m saying is what your thinking.

House: Okay, I didn’t understand a word anda just said.

(House lent back on the sofa and let out a sigh, before rubbing his eyes.)

Amber: anda should be with her.

House: The hooker that just left?

Amber: Cuddy.

(House drank some more.)

House: We have a mutual understanding that we can never be in a relationship.

Amber: I know anda therefore I know anda want her, but akting like some stupid idiot isn’t keeping anda in neutral like anda think it is, it’s putting anda in reverse.

House: Now I know it’s me talking.

Amber: I’m right.

House: No, it’s just anda got the whole car metaphor right therefore it can’t be anda it must be me.

(House stood up and made his way to his bedroom. He lay on his tempat tidur and stared ahead of him. Amber appeared in the door way.)

Amber: You’re mistaken.
(House flinched slightly at the sight of Amber again.)

Amber: This isn’t about Kutner atau me, well we’re partly to do with it, the main problem is you.

House: How? I didn’t kill anyone.

Amber: anda don’t feel guilt, anda feel regret.

(House looked up at the ceiling, ignoring her.)

House: Maybe oleh ignoring anda I will end this 3D nightmare.

Amber: anda regret a lot of things House; things that anda know can’t be fixed quickly with an easy and simple answer. Me, Wilson, Cuddy and now Kutner. You’re brain turned into a pressure cooker; one slight nudge of the domino, the-

House: I get it!

(Silence fell upon the room, House looked up. The room was empty, House let out a sigh of relief before there was a knock on the door.)

Cuddy was standing at House’s door, wanting to see if he was okay.

Cuddy: House, it’s me.

(House opened the door, before turning back and looking at the clock on the side.)

House: What time is it?

Cuddy: It’s late, I know. I just couldn’t sleep without knowing anda were okay.

(House looked her up and down before peering outside his doorway.)

House: Where’s the tag-a-long?

Cuddy: Rachel’s at my mom’s. Are anda going to let me in?

(House looked apprehensive about letting her in, after he had drunk so much, but he let her in.)

Cuddy: Wow.

(Cuddy looked around, and saw the half-empty bottle of scotch with some tequila on the floor oleh the sofa.)

House: I was trying to sleep.

(Cuddy sat on the chair to the side, whilst House picked up his glass of scotch and sat, looking at Cuddy.)

House: So, you’re here to ‘check up on me’?

Cuddy: Wilson and I talked, he feels really bad about bringing up the whole guilt thing about Amber.

House: Yeah. He’d rather me breakdown about the cinta of his life than one of my team.

Cuddy: Do anda want to talk about it?


(House look at his empty glass of scotch, and contemplated the talk he had with his hallucination of Amber.)

House: No, I do not want to, nor do I need to, talk about it

(Cuddy seemed fidgety, but moved from the chair to the coffee table. Sitting directly opposite from House.)

Cuddy: We’re all going through pain; Amber’s death and now Kutner’s death, it’s a lot for one person to take, especially if that person played a pivotal part in their lives. anda made them who they were as doctors; not as human beings.

(House and Cuddy gave deep longing looks into each other eyes.)

Cuddy: I’ll help anda up.

(Cuddy grabbed one arm, and helped him into bed.)

House: anda better not be taking advantage.

(Cuddy smiled slightly, before she turned the lamp off on his bedside table.)

Cuddy: I’ll just be in the living room. Now get some sleep.

(Cuddy closed the door, before she grabbed a blanket from the long chair and wrapped it around herself; she kicked off her heels and lay down on the long chair before falling asleep.)
