Without further ado, I present to you; Neos Seven

Welcome to Station: 07, the literal "Cloud City" of the 22nd century. Born into an era unlike any other, a time when the impossible is all but the reality, you are a citizen of the Seventh great floating city in the sky. Promises of a life of privilege and luster followed those who took up residents in these vast complexes, suspended in geo-synchronous orbit around Earth's skies. This, along with brilliant technological advancements have ensured mankind's survival safely in the confines of these mystical cities. When the many unlucky whom remain on the surface must hide away from the massive sandstorms and earthquakes that shake the planet at its very core, the people of Neos Seven will thrive safely for the rest of time.

"Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? truth is, people down there have it better off. Yeah sandstorms? Earthquakes? They're all nothing compared to life outside the wall... Oh they didn't tell you in the intro? Well, here's a little bit of history for you."

"In the year 2140, amidst this new found city in the sky, it wasn't all gold and glamorous as it's shown. No, this city was broken to begin with. And the man behind it all, Herald of the New Dawn, Gregory Lancaster... A posh noble and aristocrat who was by no design of his own, of course, became the most powerful man to have never set foot on the Earth. For his first act as Lord of the Neos, Gregory made a giant wall, hard as the toughest most reinforced titanium alloy ever made... This wall of Jericho, separates the poor and innocent, from all of society and any clean source of food. This was the first act of many set forth by this mad man..."

"Eleven years have past and his reign is absolute, only there is a light in the darkness... The Legion, a group of rebel insurrectionists, hoping to bring about the end of tyranny and restore justice to this world of chaos, have finally begun to act... And today, we found us a way to breach the great wall of Jericho... We found you."

"Please, I need medicine for my daughter, she's gravely ill!" The desperate man called out to the Guardsman, standing just in front of Nemo at the Medical Stall, just west of the Monorail.
"I said no, and that's it. You can't pay, that's not my fault." A med clerk responded, motioning for the next person to come along.
"No you don't understand! She will die without them!" He cried out, tears in his eyes. "Please you must help me."
"Leave now, or you'll answer to the guards..." Nemo uttered, setting his hand against the man's shoulder.
"Get off me!" The man shouted, pushing him to the ground, before drawing a pistol and killing the clerk. The round tore through the clerk's neck, blood splattering across the wall behind him. Another gunshot rang out, and before Nemo knew it, three Guards were standing over the father, riddling him with bullets.

[Guardsmen]
Carry Electro-Batons, and a .40 caliber handgun as a standard for all. They are Neos Seven's only real police force, seeing as the Military is only called on for matters of war.

Cause to answer the call~ She despises the rich. Her father left her mother and her in the poor section just so he could go and be a rich guy with the new job he had collected.

Attire~ worn shirts, worn out jeans or shorts. Not very girly clothes.

Appearance~ wavy blonde hair, pale skin, bright blue eyes, short, skinny.

Weapon specialisation~ pistol

Family~ Mother who is a nurse. Her father who is a keeper of the wall and its technology but he lives on the rich side, a little four year old brother. (Although only half brother, she loved him)

"Yeah, dispatch we got a code seven-fourteen, and a dead clerk over here in sector five, requesting a coroner to come down here and clean this up over..." One of the officers began to talk, his voice distorted by the metal helmet. "Alright, everyone needs to clear out of here, there's a med station just four blocks that way."

Nemo grumbled and stood up from the ground, brushing off his pants when level. "You, what exactly happened here boy?" One of the Guards asked, blocking my path as the other civies walked down towards the other medical stall.

"The man was desperate and wanted some meds, the clerk wouldn't give it to him, then you guys came, look I need to get medication for my friend so if you don't mind?" The boy shrugged, before the Officer let him pass.

"Fucking place..." Nemo whispered as he found himself before the open street, the humming of the Electric cars steadily passing one another. The place seemed so quiet, and the night made everything dreary and cold.

[Electro-Mobile]
These so called "Hover Cars" actually uses a pair of magnetized generators built into the chassis, creating an electro-magnetic link between the grid beneath every street and alleyway in Neos Seven. These vehicles can reach a top speed of 290-320 Km/H, depending on the make and model.

Cause to answer the call- Ever since he was young, he was told to stay out of the poor section. His father never let him hear stories of the first uprising. He always had thought of it as a myth. But one day, he decided to venture outside of the wall and saw the injustice that was taken place. He joined the leadership to bring down his bloodline.

Appearance- (Picture)

Attire- Mostly vests and ties. When he ventures out though, he wears ratty sneakers and an old black hoodie to disguise himself.

Weapon Specialization- Dual short blades

Family- Gregory Lancaster and his wife Alyssa Lancaster. He is an only child, heir to the throne.

I stared out the window, watching the commotion around the wall. Whar was happening there today? Everyday, I would come to this window just to stare through it, and at the wall. All I wished fir was to be on the other side. It seemed brilliant, but then again, wernt they all just scumbags? People who took what they had for granted, he'll, they don't even share a thing with us.

I stood from my sitting position, walking into the next room. (The only next room we had)

"Mum, what is happening at the wall?" I asked her as she faced me, my four year old brother in her hands.

"No clue, dear."

"I'm going to go check it out. Bye mum!" I called and I could hear her protests, but I ignored her. She couldn't stop me.

Cause to answer- He was raised to hate the weathly. It angered him even further that his mother and father were executed. So he decided to join up and fight.

Colt sighed as he walked throughout the rich side of the wall. It was so boring on this side of the wall. The real world was just on the other side. That was when he heard the commotion at the wall. He ran towards it.

Graham was staking out a local vendor when he heard the commotion by the wall. On instinct, he quickly ran towards his little shack where he stayed with his nine-year old sister. When he got there, Emma was quietly playing with toys on the floor. Her wavy brown hair was neatly tucked in a braid, which Graham had to do every morning.
"Em?" He called out, hesitantly. He didn't want to scare her. "Em, it's Graham." He walked up to her and squatted.
"Graham Cracker!" She shouted as soon as she saw him. Her brown eyes sparkling a bit.
"Yes it's me, Graham Cracker," Graham chuckled. "Come with me. There's a surprise waiting for us." He stood up and offered his hand. Emma couldn't resist a surprise so she took Graham's hand and out they went towards the wall.

"Nem!" A familiar voice shouted from the opposite side of the street. The boy looked up and smiled warmly at the site of her. A'llea was eighteen, and a Legion Officer's prized daughter, known for her skills with the Electric Lance. The two met just a week earlier, and already they were in love, in fact it was Nemo's first.

"What happened? I heard shots..." She asked, walking beside Nemo on the sidewalk.

"Just a transaction gone wrong, not like it's the first time I'd been in the middle of a shootout." He grumbled, looking off towards the wall that towered over even the six story apartments of sector 5.

"... Are you okay?" A'llea turned, watching as he showed little emotion from the ordeal. "That doesn't happen every day, and things like that can shake anyone."

"Ah, I'm fine, we should report in for the briefing soon, better not keep your father waiting."

By the time I got to the wall, it was like nothing had happened. There were people Gaurdians the wall while others stood talking to each other, and I wondered. How many of these people were rich, and many were poor?

There was a reason I stared at the wall everyday. I always hoped that I would see my father- and sometimes; I did. And sometimes, I was too impatient to to wait for him to appear even though I knew he would eventually turn up at the wall with his suit, freshly shaven face, clean/washed hair. The looks of a rich man. I always wondered if he found another family, found new kids to take care of, and then I usuallt ended the thought with the fact that I was being a hypocrite for not wanting my dad to get another family when my mother was now in love with another man and had a kid to him.

Colt had slipped past the guards and into the crowd. He put on his old black hoodie to disguise himself as a commoner. This was when it was the easiest to sneak in, when there was a large crowd of people.

Graham had his sister stay right around the corner in case he needed to make a quick getaway. This was his chance to steal some food. While everyone was distracted, Graham snuck up behind the produce. He opened a bag and started piling fruit and vegetables into it. He kept looking up, to make sure no one had noticed. Graham moved on to another vendor, one who sold bread. Once his bag was full, he pulled it closed and swung it over his back. He ran away from the crowd.
"Come on," Graham whispered to his sister, his arm stretched out. Emma took his hand and they both started running back towards their shack.

"Ha, yeah and he'd force you to watch as I screamed." The boy chuckled and nudged her as they rounded the corner of the street.

"Hey!" A'llea groaned, before punching Nemo's shoulder rather hard. "A legionare could have seen that, you know they're everywhere."

"Ouch, man A'llea this is definitely an abusive relationship." He teased, rubbing his shoulder as if it was a deep wound.

She stopped and smacked him across the back of his head. "And there's more where that came from." A'llea laughed and jogged to walk beside him. "Don't you ever forget, I own you..."

I turned away from the wall with a sigh, walking back towards my house where my mother was probably getting angrier by the minute. I sighed once more at the thought.

When I walked into my house, I saw my little brother, but not my stepdad, and nor my mum.

"Eugene, where's mummy and daddy?" I asked a little voice.

"Mummy and daddy went to try get some food," Eugene said in a pout, cuddling his worn teddy bear.

"Come here, you," I said, picking him up in my arms.

"Why'd they leave you here by yourself?"I asked, curious. That wasn't like them.

"Mummy was angry. She said that you'd be back soon and just left." I frowned at that. It was obvious who she was angry at.

A'llea glanced right and left as the two passed a dark alleyway, then took Nemo and shoved him into it. "What, what was that for?!" The boy protested as he stumbled in the darkness, just before she wrapped her arms around him.

"You never know who's watching." She grinned and buried her head in his shoulder. "It's as if you're trying to get us caught, just doing that in public."

"All anyone knows is that we're friends, that's it, and your dad doesn't expect a thing... Just don't worry about it." Nemo spoke as he took the two deeper into the shadows, where no one could see.

"I just... Can't help but shake this feeling that father's planning something big, and it's gonna involve me and the other Runners."

"What do you mean?" The boy asked as A'llea raised her head to look him in the eyes.

"I mean, the Legion is gathering their forces as we speak, the lot of em'. And, they're becoming secretive, holding meetings where I'm not allowed to be present... But."

"-But that didn't stop you, did it?" Nemo grinned, finishing her sentence.

"Course not!" She chuckled.

"Well who's that then!?" A voice called out in the darkness, followed by the sound of several footsteps. Three men appeared, each carrying police issued batons, their electronic cores obviously fired... But a dangerous weapon nonetheless.

"God, is there no place for peace and quiet?" A'llea scoffed, before drawing her folded lance, it's electric discharges buzzing as it extended into full length. "Alright then, bugger off."

[Discharge Lance]
Developed shortly after the nineteenth Neos had been completed, this extending weapon could burn away whatever the ends touched, be it bulletproof armor, or titanium steel. Best known for it's use by the Royal Guards of the queen on Neos One.

Colt decided to take a walk. He wanted to see more of this side of the wall. Besides, he needed an escape plan. It was hard to get back on the other side. Guards were everywhere on the train platform. He couldn't just say he was the Lancaster prince. It would raise flags and questions and then the guards would have to report to his father. No, he needed a better plan than that.

Graham and his sister zigzaged as they went back to their living quarters, as if they were being followed. Once they reach the safety of their one-story house, Graham pulled the bag opened.
"I got us some food that will last us a couple of weeks if we proportion them right." Graham said, softly. He saw the wonderment in Emma's eyes and smiled. This was one of the reasons why he was fighting. So he could save his sister. He pulled it by the strings to shut it and put it on the shelf.

They began to laugh as one drew a pistol, a generation seven Glock by the looks of it. "Nah, why don't you drop yours so that we may all get along?" The man with the pistol grinned as he inched towards the two teens.

"Fuck..." A'llea whispered, then hesitantly set her lance on the ground. "We're Legion, you know that right? You hurt us, they'll come lookin' for your sorry arses."

"Legionaries disappear every day." The man speaking was obviously the leader of this little band of thugs. The way he moved was much like that of one of the nobles from behind the wall, only what was this man doing here?

"We don't want any trouble, just leave us be and you'll survive this." Nemo insisted, slowly raising his hands as the pistol turned to him.

"And so the boy speaks, how nice, but your words mean nothing, boy." The word hit him like a bullet to the chest, anger swelling inside of him. "Besides, what could a boy like you possibly do to a man with a gun!" He roared as the others laughed, just when he stepped not a foot away from A'llea. "... God, you'd make for what, three thousand credits..." The man murmured almost to him self as he looked over her.

"I won't say it again, leave us..." Nemo grumbled, a fire burning in his eyes as the man stood before A'llea. It was then when he lowered his hands and put them behind his back, kneeling to the ground as well. "My father is the head of the Legion, I'd be worth far more..."

[Gen-7]
Once the prized new handgun of the 22nd century, the Gen-7 was eventually replaced by the Gen-8 which uses Electronic Bolts in the place of actual bullets. This older handgun was designed by the Austrian firearms company; Glock and was widely used by the police force in its glory days. The pistol itself is chambered in the 9X19 Flak Round, and has a capacity for fifteen rounds in its magazine.

Cause to answer the call- His father is the second-in-command to the entire legion, so it was expected of him to fight. Jack had no mind for war, not until the massacre during the first revolt.

"Oh is that so?" The man scoffed, glancing back at his comrades. "This boy seems to-!" He began, just before the boy rose and thrusted his arm towards the thug's face. A loud electric zap sounded as Nemo's hand lit with a blue light. In the blink of an eye the man was sent straight into the wall of one of the apartments, blood particles turned to mist in the air.

"Run... Run!" Nemo shouted before raising his glowing hand once more, the light quickly intensifying as if ready to fire. "I said run!" With that, both men dropped their makeshift weapons and ran off, leaving the teens alone in the dark alley.

"Maybe we should just go home," he muttered, but I shook my head, somehow in the back of my mind- I knew- I knew that they wouldn't be home yet, and I didn't want to go back to something empty.

Colt walked around the market. There was talk of a thief who stole some food. He wondered who was so desperate for food that they would have to resort to stealing. Colt just then realized where he was, the people who were around him. He felt bad for thinking that way. Colt walked up the merchant.
"Did you do it then?" The man accused Colt.
"No I didn't," Colt said, in confusion.
"Take off your hood! I wanna see your eyes!" The man shouted. It started to attract a crowd. Colt began to get nervous. "Come on then! Take off your hood."
"I didn't steal your produce sir," Colt muttered. The man advanced on Colt ,and Colt started backing up. Two guys came behind Colt and held him. He struggled.
"Now we see who this thief is." The man stated. He took Colt's hood off, and everyone gasped. The two guy let go once they realized who they were holding. "I-I'm so sorry," The merchant mumbled. Once Colt was free, he ran. He didn't bother to try to explain or anything. He had to get back now. Unfortunately for him, he ran into a girl on the way to the platform.

Graham was eating an apple he stole, while Emma was eating apple slices and some pieces of bread.
"Don't worry Em, everything's going to be fine." Graham muttered, patting her back. It was moments like these when he missed his parents. Emma was too young to understand what was going on and why their parents were executed, but Graham knew it by heart. They were accused of being apart of a plan that was going to assassinate the Lord. There were fake evidence used in their 'trial' and were sentenced to death.

The boy turned and helped A'llea to her feet. "You, you still have it? Even after all this time?" She then went quiet and smiled. "That Repulsor was your father's wasn't it?" A'llea asked, before folding her lance inward to the shape of a short metalic cylinder.

"Do you even know how it works?" She stepped forward, pointing to the device wrapped around his hand.

"Yeah you just point it at something and it goes boom." He smiled meekly, then motioned for the two of them to get going. "We need to go before the guards arrive..."

"Please, Carrie, please. I wanna go back home," he pouted, and I sighed, giving in to him.

"Alright, buddy. We will go home.hopefully mummy and daddy are home," I told him, turning to the opposite direction, walking back to the house. It onky took us two minutes,to get back. We hadn't ventured far. When we walked into the door, I was surprised when my mum and stepdad sat on the rickety chairs.

"Mum, Jax, you're back?" I questioned.

"Yes. Where did you two go?" My mother asked.

"For a walk. Eugene wanted to get out of the house. You?" I asked in return.

"I was hoping that was the case. And we went to get food, but Carrie, we had no luck," she said with a frown. My face fell.

Colt had to get back to the other side now. But there was no way he would get there without alarming his dad. He would be grounded until he was the Lord. He kept running, who knows what going to happen when word gets out that the son of the Lord was in the minority section, he was either going to get kidnapped or beaten, possibly both.

A'llea extended her arm, the double sided Lance springing to life with an electric hiss. "That's Lancaster's boy..."

Nemo turned and drew his handgun, aiming it towards the other boy. "Well this is quite a surprise, what's a rich boy like you doing down here in such a filthy place, no thanks to the monster you call dad."

Justify killing all those people on the other side because they don't know what's going on, but start with me. I don't agree with my father, and I never will. Colt stuck his hands in his pockets and kept walking behind them. He thought about his life over on the other side. The parties, the academy, his arranged marriage. He hated everything, but the academy there. ''So, how is everyone?" Colt asked, trying to ease the awkwardness in the air.
