Does seeing Kane’s personal luar angkasa give us lebih insight into him? It does, in a very subtle way. It’s dark; very sort of Spartan, with some interesting artwork.

Interview with Henry Ian Cusick about Season 3 of The 100
Season 3 is just ONE DAY away, premiering Thursday, January 21 at 9PM ET/PT on The CW, and if you’re not watching, you might want to re-think your life choices.
With that said… to get everyone ready, we have yet another interview from
set in Vancouver. Today, the spotlight falls on Henry Ian Cusick, “Marcus Kane” on the popular CW show. You can watch the interview – and our sometimes-failed attempts to get spoilers out of him – below. Beneath, you can find a mostly-full transcript. Enjoy, and know that you can read all of KSiteTV’s coverage of
Can you talk about where Kane might be situated in terms of leadership?
He’s pretty much in the same place. Abby is still the Chancellor, and he’s doing everything that he can to support her.
It changes quite a lot this season so far. We’re in Episode 8 at the moment. It’s so difficult because I’m not allowed to say very much, but the dynamic changes. There’s the introduction of a new character, which is going to throw a lot of things up in the air. Abby and I are still going to be very much a duo in terms of the leadership on the Arc. The new character is going to challenge that.
How does Clarke’s absence at the start of the season affect everyone at the camp?
I think we are just trying to get on with stuff here at the camp. Clarke is still a very much important leader in our group. We go looking for her. We want her back. But she’s chosen a different path, and we have to accept that. But in going to look for her, we encounter something new.
Does the Clarke situation also present good scenes for you and Paige to do?
Yeah. We touch on that, but that’s not really what this season’s about for us. We’re not still pining over Clarke and how to get her back. It develops further. We have another immediate threat, which is a lot more powerful for us to deal with.
Does there continue to be a tension between the older generation and the younger generation within the camp?
No; we’ve kind of gotten over that. There is the odd line “they’re kids,” and yes, I guess, because they’re playing 18, but they’ve now proven themselves, so we don’t really go into that much.
Does that mean that Kane and Bellamy might be having some scenes together?
Yes. I spend a lot of time with Bob [Morley]. The people that I’ve been working with a lot are Bob [and] Michael Beach… I’d say those are the two I’ve been working with a lot.
How has Kane’s relationship changed with Bellamy as the season begins?
With Bellamy, I see in him, at the end of Season 2, a leader. And that’s how it picks up with Season 3, that he is a leader, and I can see him as the future leader of this camp.
What is your favorite episode or scene that you’ve gotten to do so far?
Favorite one I’ve done so far, I guess you’re asking because I hope to get more… there was a scene that I’m curious to see how it turns out, with Michael Beach and Bob. We filmed it, I think it’s episode 7.
I know Kane is really busy, but does he ever have time to be introspective and wish that his mom had lived to see Earth?
He does that a lot, but off camera. We get to see Kane’s bedroom, though! That’s kind of interesting.
But that would be a cool scene, right? But no. You see Kane’s bedroom. It’s used for something else… besides me sleeping in it.
Does seeing Kane’s personal space give us more insight into him?
It does, in a very subtle way. It’s dark; very sort of Spartan, with some interesting artwork.
Does Kane’s religious upbringing come up at all?
We do touch on it when somebody passes; there’s a touch of religiousness.
You say Kane sees Bellamy as a possible leader. Does that mean Kane will take him under his wing a little bit?
Is there relationship very “general” and “first sergeant?” What will we see with that? Sounds like there’s some good stuff coming up.
There is. As always with this show, nothing is easy, so I’m telling you that, that I’m going to take him under his wing, and then the way you know this show, then you know that that’s not going to be an easy path.
There’s an interesting interaction in Season 2 between Kane and Octavia, where he’s trying to get information for the Arkers. Is that a relationship that’s going to continue?
Yeah. We shot a scene like that recently, so yeah. That — it’s slight, but it continues. I see her as a little sort of spy type character.
