She Who Must Not Be Named and all her crazy little afterthoughts are dead to me.

See I accept some stuff like the Dumbledore thing but other stuff, as you put it, seemed like afterthoughts.

Seems to be an unpopular opinion among fans but holy shit I love it when she gives us previously-unknown HP snippets on twitter. Please. More. The more the better. Give me the name of Hannah Abbott's irrelevant and currently non-existent great-grandaunt.

I accept them when I actually hear about them, I just don't keep up with the news. So rather than having any kind of aversion to them as such, I'm just not very knowledgeable about the stuff she's revealed in interviews and on social media.

^^ those are the kinds I like because they don't contradict what's already written.

I accept Dumbledore being gay, anyway, and I can't remember anything I've heard which had me outraged. Unless she's stated that the events of Cursed Child should be considered canon? I can't remember if it was she who said that or someone else.

^I think that was just fan debate. From memory, she has never weighed into it (I have a twitter account pretty much exclusively to check her posts lol).

I can't remember anything that left me outraged either. Pretty sure all the stuff she's said has been cohesive with the HP universe.

From what I remember, most of her revelations were just stuff she couldn't find a way to write into the actual books. There was also a few mentions of earlier, dropped story-lines.

I accept some things, like Dumbledore being gay, but I also completely ignore Cursed Child. It never happened. It doesn't exist.

^I ignore Cursed Child/treat it as insane fan fiction, as well. But from my understanding, that wasn't JKR's work.

I can see hints/implications of Dumbledore being gay dating (npi) as far back as the first book (his "partner", Nicolas Flamel). Things such as Hermione being black? It wouldn't be a problem or affect the storyline whatsoever, but she had the chance to hire a black actress to portray Hermione.

^I never interpreted "partner" there as being romantic partner, mainly because it also mentioned that Flamel was married. The hint/implication I picked up in hindsight was the fact that Dumbledore, the great patron of love, never married or had a known partner himself.
