harry potter Pertanyaan

I'm not going against Jo atau anything, but, am I the only one who thinks that Hedwig shouldn't have died? *sad*

Hedwig has always been a part of Harry Potter I guess it would have made a lot of people happier if she wasn't zapped...

and I heard a rumor that Hedwig was killed because she shielded Harry from an Avada Kedavra during the flight of the 7 Harry's,
see I'm confused because another statement is that Harry's position was diberikan away because Hedwig was flying protectively beside her real owner

and still I believe i read somewhere that Harry's position was diberikan away because he used Expelliarmus to disarm Stan which sort of attracted the attention of the Death Eaters who heard of his battle with Voldy...

so which should I believe?

and sorry for the dual question... >_<

Book version: Harry does Expelliarmus on Stan. The spell is recognized as Harry's signature move. One of the Death Eaters tries to attack Harry. Hedwig tries to protect Harry and is killed.
Movie version: Hedwig tries to protect Harry and is killed. The part about Stan was omitted understandably as he had only been in POA for about five menit and there hadn't been any mention of his character since then.

I think the death of Hedwig symbolized the death of Harry's orphanhood.

In the book, Hedwig remains in her cage throughout the fight, stored in the side-car. She is killed when the side-car is blown up. It was Harry's use of Expelliarmus which gave away who was the real Harry.

In the film, Harry releases her so that she can fly to the Burrow, but she flies back to the fight and is killed oleh an Avada Kedavra curse aimed at Harry. This protectiveness betrays Harry.

Her death symbolises the end of Harry's childhood.

I tend to agree, it was so easily avoided.
Send Hedwig with the Dursley's, I mean your owl is amongst the most recognizable in the wizarding world, send her somewhere safe.

I don't think she's that recognisable, she's just a snowy owl.

Hedwig was zapped shielding Harry from an Avada Kedavra. Harry was diberikan away because the real Harry used Expelliarmus too often.

Honestly, I don't remember how Hedwig died. As for her death . . . well, no one lasts forever. Perhaps Rowling saw the owl as a childhood symbol that Harry had to be rid of on the road to adulthood. All atau most of his adult figures were killed, as well.

anda aren't the only Potterhead who thinks she shouldn't have died. I for one think it was quite unfair! But I suppose anda can't win a Wizarding war with fairness!
