My kid is going to be named James — well, my boy is, at least. Best name ever, I think! And it's not even because of Harry Potter, I've just always loved the name.

I like Angelina, Dean, Oliver, Lily, Peter, and Colin.

Also, I cinta all of the Weasleys' names. Arthur, Molly, Bill [William], Charlie, Percy (haha, awesome name!), Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny.

Finally, I like the name Narcissa. It's just really cool.

I think i would! I like some of the names that anda listed up there. Like Luna, i cinta that name, Ginny, even though her real name is Ginerva eeehh, Lily, it's a nice name, and James, i got that from other buku too but i really like that name. Another name I like is Draco. I wouldn't name any of my kids that, if i had any, but it suits him.

I wouldn't really use Harry atau Ron, they are kinda common, and Hermione is sort of a mouthful but they are nice names all the same.

Other names ummmm...I like fred and George even though they are pretty common too. I really like the name Percy, i don't think it suits the character in the book but i like the name. Bill and Charlie too but not so much! Dean is good too!

There are alot of great names in the buku and it would be difficult to choose!

I like the names Hermione, Lily, James, Charlie and Lavender. Mostly because when I was still too young to really know anything about the English language atau English culture, these were the names I considered the prettiest.

I wouldn't intentionaly name them after people in the series, but even before I loved HP, I loved the names James, Lily, and Ariana (Dumbledores sister's name). Those names rock :)

I like a lot of names from Harry Potter. I've once atau twice entertained the idea of naming one of my kids after one of them (Remus, Oliver, Dominique, Luna, Draco) but I'm not sure if I'd actually name one of my kids those.

First of all, the names anda listed are quite common. I believe that if anda had to name your kids after a character, it should be made prominent to people who your child is named after.

I would name my children after a character, but I can't for reasons I won't state. But if I could, I would go for Draco. :) Why? So someone asks his name and says, "As in Draco Malfoy? :O How awesome!" XD

Well, I don't plan to name any of MY kids after them, but my aunt did! Her new baby girl is named Ginny. I think it was so funny that she named her that. (BTW, Ginny is ADORABLE!!!)

I do like Rose, which is the name Hermione and Ron gave to their daughter of course, although I don't like Rosie even for a nickname (RON!) So I think if I were ever to have a daughter, she would have Rose for her first name, Veronica for her middle name. But then again, I might change my mind oleh then, and Rose is pretty common and not really clear as to whether it is a HP name atau not, unless anda know me of course :D

That would be horrible to name my kid Bathilda, so probably no. I'm definitely naming pets(Dobby, Crookshanks, Buckbeak) though.

If I have a boy I'll name him James, but not because of HP. I've just always had that name planned for a future son before I even knew what Harry Potter was. I wouldn't name any kids after characters on purpose. If I really like a name I would use it, but not like just naming them after that character.

I would absolutely not even think of naming my children after these characters (especially Ginny), atau any other characters in Harry Potter. I want to name my child a timeless name. A great one, with a wonderful origin. I don't want to just give them something from a book I read as a child. How do anda think they'll react when anda say:

"I named anda James after a guy in my favourite book. But he was on the good side."

I would also appreciate to name them after someone with a great personality that isn't thought of as bad, unlike Ginny the girl with many boyfriends and James the bully. No offense, but I really hate those characters, but it's okay if anda like them.

Besides, I plan to marry Lee Taemin from SHINee one day, and I don't think these names will appeal to him. The names in harry Potter are either to plain (Harry, Ronald), out there so that no other person would even think of the names(Hermione, Luna, I mean, anda have to think of the possibility of them getting teased) atau after characters I hate atau think they're names are too...I don't know the word but I hope anda get me (Ginny), atau too much of one thing, such as girly (Lily, Dominique) atau just ugh (Albus).

Oh, but I think Fleur is a really pretty name. And it's after my favourite character. But I still won't name my child that. It all depends on what actually FITS mine and my husband's taste, and the type of person anda want to help them become, not just some name anda like.

I like bintang names, so it's not unlikely one of my kids would end up with the same name as a member of the Black family, but it wouldn't be deliberate.

Yes but not intentionally - I always loved the name Lily so that was going to be for a girl and all the men on my boyfriend's side of the family are called James so that would be the boy - so if we have one of each they would be Lily and James :)
