I'd hear him out and evaluate his reasons why, and if he's stopped.
Sense he had good intentions, I'd have to reason to stay away from him.

@omg_stop, It's more WHY they have killed that causes a difference. Vampires kill to drink blood, which in some people's books automatically make them evil. While Harry killed in the name of saving the world.

Edward's kills saved people also.
