•Harry Potter vs Twilight•

*I used to like Twilight until I started really membaca it and it seemed like the lebih I heard atau read into it, the lebih negative things I would find. This is coming from an unbiased point of view; Me being a fan of Harry Potter has nothing to do with my opinion.


Why I hate Twilight and think it is a bad example of love:
•     Bella is incredibly disrespectful, insensitive, and rude to her own parents. She even calls them oleh their first names. She thinks her dad is a ‘dumb*** and constantly says he can’t look after himself and she calls her own mother an idiot all because...

I’ve read many lists pointing out Twilight “Plot Holes”, but lebih often than not, the lists aren’t very valid at all. Half of them are usually just complaints, pointing out something they don’t like about Twilight (Example:” Why would vampire go to high school?”, atau “Why does Bella have so many friends?”). The rest are just factually incorrect, atau can be logically theorized. These are usually followed oleh “Stephenie Meyer obviously ditched history class”, atau “Hasn’t Stephenie ever heard of logic?”, atau my personal favorite, “I would know, I had a lesson about it...

I would like to start oleh quoting Susanna Laitala, who wrote a review of Breaking Dawn for a Finnish newspaper: "... oleh Stephenie Meyer, who, in my opinion, is a very talented writer."
