I agree that Harry Potter is an excellent book, I love J.K. Rowling's writing style and this book actually means something to me. I want to be a author now that Harry Potter was made. I was only about 2 when the book came out so....
But I do think we are bashing Stephanie Meyers a little too hard; i agree that the books are not well message-senders and are not well thought out, but bashing her isn't going to make them go away. Maybe she does not want to hear critism because she fears there is too much negativity. I wouldn't feel very confident if someone constantly bashed my books. But she needs to learn how to write, because if her books actually had meaning and depth then she wouldn't have to worry about critism. Her books mean nothing, they teach girls nothing, they are nothing. I don't mean to pass off as rude or mean, but it is the TRUTH. How will she better herself if she does not heed critism? This will lead to her books being more crappier and full of nonsense. I don't need to know what Bella ate for breakfast, this is not important. I support Harry Potter but feel for Stephanie, she just wants to write. But my rebuttle is, if you're going to publish something make sure it is not garbage. Most of the fan-base is just teens who love Rob Pattinson or Taylor Lautner. Harry has more meaning; you should not be afraid of death,embrace it as your own! Love is absolutely more powerful than evil! So many great themes! But what do I get from Twilight? Give up if your boyfriend leaves you, end it all. The really detailed sexual affairs scared me. I thought that these bruises, if anyone were to see them, would set off a thought that she was being abused. I DID NOT take favor to that. And the poor outcome of Bella, where's the strong, independant sign in that girl? We've come far from the 1800's Stephanie. I think that the main character takes favor to the author, and THIS wow I sure hope she is not like that in real life. Bella so closely resembles Stephanie.... And what's up with Renesmee being handed off to Jacob? So now that Bella can't be his, you stick him with a child? Who's just been born a few days ago? I find it repulsing how Jacob gets the baby. If your husband used to be your mom's love interst and they were the same age, something's got to be wrong with that! In further more, I don't support these novels. They're completely cliche'd and there is too much sexual fantasy.

I feel as though this book was thrown together carelessly. There is no diversity, and I don't believe that you can "dream" up a four book series. It was the names that had so much close resemblance, like Jacob Black and he's a "shapeshifter". I personally believe that he is just a native american Sirius Black. And Sirius is an animagus which is shapeshifting. And he is a dog. Sound familiar?
