anda MUST KNOW THAT I DON'T AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE POINTS

Okay, SO many people are saying that Harry Potter is better than Twilight. That’s SO not true!
Twilight is a timeless tale of love, then cinta lost and found again. It shows how cinta can get anda through everything. It’s such a sweet story about the things people do for love, like Bella goes all the way to Italy to save Edward from the Volturi, for instance.
Also, Twilight is MUCH lebih creative, I mean, Stephenie Meyer created a new kind of Vampire, instead of just using a stereotypical, Dracula type Vampire. I mean, they sparkle, how awesome is that? Plus, they’re MAJORLY hot instead of being creepy. And the manusia serigala aren’t your typical “full-moon-flesh-eater” type. It shows that Stephenie Meyer is actually creative while JK Rowling has no original ideas at all.
Twilight is just so sweet and romantic, a fabuous, timeless tale that will likely be around forever. Harry Potter is just a mashup of crazy ideas, bizarre things, weird, freaky characters, and has no plot. TWILIGHT 4 EVER!
Also, Harry Potter teaches you:
1)It’s ok to drop out of school and go hunt a crazy, murderous maniac oleh yourself, and not even go with an adult atau anything.
2)Violence is totally cool.
3)Death is no big deal, and happens all the time.
4)Just because you’re an orphan since some guy killed your parents, it’s okay to be a jerk to your friends and accuse them of “not getting it”.
4)It’s okay to escape from jail.
5)Don’t trust your government.
In fact, just go ahead and reject them completely!
6)It’s okay to break the rules.
7)It’s okay to shout at and be rude to teachers and other authority figures.
And seriously, the buku are also all depressing. Lots of good characters die, which isn’t cool. And they’re just full of violence, and ridiculous plans. Also, it’s just so ridiculous, I mean, Magic is impossible. And there’s no way anda could seriously just “apparate” dissappear and reappear somewhere else. And if anda tried to hop in a api to go someplace, “Floo Powder”, you’d burn your face off. It’s just crazy, whereas the scenarios in Stephenie Meyers Twilight series are lebih realistic and likely to happen.
Also, Twilight has:
1)Robert Pattison, can anda say HOT? And he’s totally sexy when he sparkles!
2)Taylor Lautner, I mean, have anda SEEN those muscles?
3)Kristen Stewart. An extremely talented and beautiful actress, with loads of potential.
4)The Volturi. REALISTIC Villains, instead of insane freaks in cloaks, like Voldemort and the Death Eaters
Harry Potter isn’t all bad, I mean, they DO have:
Robert Pattison as Cedric Diggory. The ONE thing the producers got right! Don’t even try to deny anda don’t rewind just to watch his scenes again!
Lucius Malfoy. Hot, even for an older guy!
And that’s about it. Seriously, anda want QUALITY literature and movies, watch Twilight. I mean, I don’t HATE Harry Potter atau anything, It’s just like, NOTHING compared to the literary BRILLIANCE that is Twilight!

graystone That is undoubtedly one of the weakest points about hating Harry Potter I have read here. (No offense at mr-cullen). For instance, love can't get you through everything. That is the major misconception of twilight. And for Bella going to Italy to save Edward, I'm not going to be judgemmental about it. But even more sacrificial stuff happen in Harry Potter(like Harry going to sacrifice himself to Voldemort so that the wizarding world doesn't have to suffer on his account, Dobby giving up his life for Harry, Lily and James' sacrifice, etc) And about Twilight being "creative", when I first heard of the plotline, I thought it was too. But then I went and read the book. The book was so centred around perfection, and anything less than perfect isn't worthing having around. They are made to 'sparkle' and they are made to look absolutely flawless. And how about the fact that all the good guys are so beautiful that Bella will tera up any second and the bad guys are well, not-so-perfect? I guess the only thing I liked about twilight was the were-wolves. They are responsible and they have their duties laid out in front of them. Definitely not like the Cullens, who sit around doing nothing(except for Carlisle). Twilight teaches you: 1)It's okay to let everyone you love in danger and get married and pregnant at 18. 2)Sure, if there is a battle brewing, cross the border and talk it out to the enemies just 5 minutes before battle. That will work out just fine. 3)In twilight, no one directly related to Bella tastes death. Just someone really distant. And why in the world would Bella, of all people, would care? 4)Just because your boyfriend dumps you doesn't mean you have to enter the zombie-phase and ignore all your friends as though they are not good enough to comfort you. 5)It's okay let a bunch of tourists (innocent people)die when you could have saved them. 6)In the last book, a point was reached, that the entire ministry was run by the death-eaters. There's nothing wrong against acting on your judgement rather than following someone's false footsteps blindly. 7)It's okay to cut your parents out of your life. "Magic is impossible". Okay, I'm seventeen. I guess it's time I believed that. But vampires are so realistic. Totally. Especially sparkling ones. Sure, I'll believe that. Get real, Stephanie. "The scenarios in Stephenie Meyers Twilight series are more realistic and likely to happen." Sure, it's everyday that human-vampire hybrid (sorry, super-hybrid) is born. Again, get real Stephanie. 1)Robert Pattinson being hot, that's a personal opinion. Some find him hot, some don't. What's so wrong with that? 2)Can't argue there :) 3)Maybe, maybe not .What has that to do with twilight? 4)They aren't even villains, for christsake. They are just the law-makers. Say, if you get caught by the traffic cops for overspeeding on a highway, they are the bad guys? Also, note that the so-called villains after one month worth of travel all the way from Italy to Forks, just had tea with the Cullens and left. Some villains, right? And for the author's information, the Volturi spend most of their time in cloaks. Yes, Robert Pattinson did do a good job playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. "Quality Literature" Really, infinite repetition of Edward's good looks can't be considered for that matter right? "Literary brilliance of twilight" You could have fooled me if I hadn't read the book. "Peace" I really don't think there could ever be peace at this spot.

ariba_c It was never easy for Harry either. Compare all the things Harry lost to everything Bella lost. Harry lost his parents, god-father, Dumbledore, Dobby, friends, etc. He was ready to sacrifice himself. What did Bella lose? Compared to Harry, her life was a piece of cake. 1. If the Cullens are "vampire's" that don't burn in the sun, don't drink blood, young, rich, immortal and beautiful, then why are they in Forks, Washington!? In HIGH SCHOOL!?

One thing I've noticed in general is that anti's tend to make a pretty big deal out of the Twilight vampire sparkling. I've seen people saying things like real vampire don't sparkle, vampire not sparkling was a fact, and that it was gay of them to sparkle. Okay, of ALL the things to criticize in Twilight, people are going after the SPARKLING? Seriously?

First off, at least where I'm from, calling something “gay” as an insult is considered really rude and distasteful. Besides being rude and homophobic, it's also generalizing and stereotyping. Just because something sparkles doesn't make...

I cannot stress strongly enough the contempt I have for the franchise of Twilight. atau at least the book. The films are lebih funny than anything else, and honestly I don't hate any of the cast an crew working on it. Having read the sumber material, I can see they had little to work with.
Harry Potter, on the other hand... I like. I don't cinta it; I'm no Potterhead oleh any means, however much I might have been in the past. But it will always hold a very special place for me.
