HP Fans, I have a question.

The Aurors weren't created to stop Voldemort. They are the wizard police, in a way. They stop the dark wizard's who ever they may be. The buku say they were diberikan new powers once Voldemort came into play, but they weren't created solely to bring him down.

JK berkata in an interview that Harry (and Ron) both went on to become Aurors.

He IS an auror. Malfoy's still around isn't he? :P

I think Aurors are lebih Dark Wizard catchers, not necessarily Voldemort :) So presumably, there'd still be dark wizards around, even after Voldemort =]
J K Rowling actually berkata in an interview that Harry and Ron both become Aurors.

Besides, even if everyone was good and not evil, there'd still be Aurors around. Why? Because it's a government job. ITS ALL A CONSPIRACY PEOPLE!!!

Yes, Harry does become an auror. And I believe he becomes head of the auror department. Aurors were not created to only stop voldemort and his death eaters but other dark wizards as well, sort of like the police in a way. The Order of the Pheonix was an alliance created to stop Voldemort and his death eaters.

Harry became the head of the Auror department. And, as bri said, they weren't created to stop Voldemort and death eaters, they were created as the dark wizard catchers, and it's not like Voldemort's defeat simply stopped all wizards from wrongdoings.

The Ministry gave everyone who had fought against Voldemort the chance to become an Auror without the Qualifications (although I think they had to be overage before they could apply). That's why Harry didn't have to complete the seventh year. He became the head of the Auror Department, after Kingsley Shacklebolt became Minster of Magic.
