I was thinking about what would happen if Hogwarts got an American exchange student. this story starts during Harry's first year. the main character's name is Ileanna, and she does not know about magic. she is also a muggle born.

CHAPTER ONE, I MEET THE DURSLEYS
"bye mom, bye dad!" i called as i got on the plane. i was going to a school for the 'abnormal' as my mom would say. i knew right away that she ment the nut house. i sat and immediately got tense. i had just remembered, i HATED heights lebih than well, anything. i sat rigid on the chair. i did not calm down until we reached the airport where the people i was staying with would be waiting. i think my parents berkata the last name was Dursly. they also had a kid going to the place i was going. my parents berkata his name was Harry Potter. why would he be staying with them if they didn't even seem to be related? i shook that thought to the back of my head. i selected a book from the wide array in my bag. i tried to read, but found myself being so nervous about being on a plane that i couldn't. finally, after what seemed like forever, the plane landed in England. as i got off, i searched the crowd for a sign with my name on it. i was told they would meet me here. finally, i found it. the one holding the sign was a skinny kid with glasses. he had messy black hair. i walked over quickly, and that was hard cause people kept ramming into me. after ten menit of trying to push my way through, i simply gave up on that and started crawling. i found that to be even lebih efficient. i made it over in three minutes. i popped up in front of the kid holding the sign. "hi. i'm Ileanna." up close i saw that he had a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt on his head. "are you... the crazy one too?" i asked in a whisper. "yep. i don't find myself crazy. but, to my aunt and uncle, i'm completely insane. oleh the way, i'm Harry." he said. "i think they went to get Dudley a snack. follow me." he walked towards a small snack bar. i had no choice but to follow. i got there at almost the same time he did. a large man and a skinny woman stood there, talking to a fat kid who looked very, very aggravating. "aunt petunia, uncle vernon? this is Ileanna, the girl staying with us." Harry said. they looked over and gave harry a look of loathing that made me wanna memukul them till they bled. i put on a fake smile and gave a little wave. a breeze blew my long, brown, boring looking hair in front of my face. "hi." i said. the fat kid looked me over and decided i wasn't all to interesting. "follow us, then." the woman, i guess her name was petunia, said. i gave harry a look like, are they for real? he rolled his eyes. i walked-ran to keep up with the brisk pace they were moving at. they beat me and harry to the car oleh two whole minutes! i got in after harry and they drove back to their house.
