who among the immortals favored the trojans and the greeks?

Gods on the side of the Torjans: Aphrodite, Apollo, Ares, Artemis and Hermes. Also a river God called Xanthus.

Gods on the side of the Greeks: Athena, Haphaestus, Hera and Poseidon.

Thetis wanted the Greeks to loose the battle until Achilles was properly honored atau until he decided to rejoin the battle. Since she requested this, Zeus made sure it happened.

This is taken from the sides the gods took during the battle between the Trojans and the Greeks in The Illiad.

I think athena favored the greeks and i believe apollo favored trojans, not very sure abput it though.

if u read th iliad you'll find out that :

-Poseidon was first with the Greek but after a while he became with trojans

-Athena always prefered Greeks Over Other Nations cause they named ther capital after her

-Appolo was with the trojans cause when the greeks landed in the pantai of troy they looted his temple

-Hera was with the greeks cause she always wanted to destroy the trojans cause they destroyed -before- three of her favourite cities

-hermes was neutral

-Aphrodite was with the trojans cause ther prince Paris chose her as the most beautiful of the gods when Hera and Aphrodite and Athena asked him about it (that's another story)

-Zeus was pretending to be with the trojans cause Thetys -the mother of Achilles- asked him to avenge her son when agamemnon took his prise
but in the end he will give the glory to the greeks cause before the war started he promiced the greeks to open the gates of troy for them

-Apollo was for the Trojans, guided the panah Paris loosed to kill Achilles because the Greeks showed no respect for the Apollo priest, father of Briseis

-I'm pretty sure Hermes was for the Trojans, too, but that's just a hunch

-Obviously Thetis is for the Greeks, but she doesn't really count

Hera hated Trojans because of Aphrodite
And Aphrodite loves Trojans because his son Eros is one of them so i think
