Beloved…Our Sovereign Lord set up the entire universe and everything in it. He did it all without consulting our kacang brains. God does not really need us. So, why were we created?

In Isaiah 43:7 (NIV), God talks of mankind, “Whom I created for my glory”. God tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV), "So whether anda eat atau drink atau whatever anda do, do it all for the glory of God."

So we were created to glorify God. We can glorify the Almighty One through what we say, how we act, and what we are thinking. We should acknowledge how glorious He is and put Him above all things.

We glorify God through our desire to know Him. The lebih we rejoice over Him "so will your God rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5 (NIV). Be grateful, rejoice and have a desire to know and obey Him.

Hebrews 12:28-29 is a good keterangan of this: “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our ’God is a consuming fire.’” This reverence and awe is exactly what the fear of God means for Christians.
