Does anybody know what happened to Jesse in Theatricality?

It occurred to me after watching it that he wasn't in it. I know he was supposed to return to Vocal Adrenaline, but nobody mentioned it, so I was quite confused.

Theatricallity was set to air after Funk but they switched places so they probably cut every Jesse scene in Theatricallity (if there was one) because it wouldn't make sense.
