When I was little, I didn't know a man could be with another man or a woman could be with another woman. But when I learned so, I was just like, "Cool. As long as they love each other."
And I actually found I was bisexual when I was about 13ish, maybe 14.
And I'm also a very romantic person who believes that love is a beautiful thing and deeply wishes for love. <3

I was raised in a southern state to devoutly Christian parents, so I was kind of doomed to be an ignorant asshole for the beginning part of my life. The crazy part is that I even had gay friends in high school and still was one of those annoying "I don't agree with what you do but I like you as a person" types. It wasn't until I went to a liberal college up north that I opened by eyes to a lot of stuff and stopped being afraid of myself. Reading my old opinions on fanpop makes me sad I ever held those hateful beliefs.

Between this and I have always supported gay rights. I used to be a bit bullied or teased for being feminine when I was a kid, so I've empathized with gay people since then. But I definitely wasn't as involved (and definitely made some prejudiced comments) as I am now that I have acknowledged my sexuality.

I never really cared if anyone was gay or not. I wasn't a supporter but I wasn't against it. Now I'm a complete supporter.

Back when I was in elementary school, when I still just thought it was weird and "unnatural" (despite the fact that I'd had crushes on several people regardless of gender - oh, the denial). Then I was pretty neutral up until sometime in high school before I became an avid supporter.

Never been against it. Although, it was awkward growing up and sorta hating on myself, and playing a blame game for being born as such. Still awkwaaardd....

I've always supported gay rights or the LGBTQ community. I just believe that people should be aloud to love whatever gender they want to, no matter what anyone else or religion says. My saying goes as it always has "Yes, there are people who are gay or lesbian, get over it." It's not hurting anyone.

I very scarcely remember it, but it was during my "religious phase" in middle school. It was an incredibly bizarre blip in my life, because when I was younger I was confused if anything but mostly indifferent, and beyond middle school I was very supportive. Middle school is a weird time.
