‘Fear The Walking Dead’s EP Reveals Victor Has A Hidden ‘Agenda’ — Interview 

What is up with Victor Strand on ‘Fear The Walking Dead’? EP Dave Erickson tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the mystery man definitely has an ‘agenda’ the others don’t know about.

Colman Domingo, 46, has become a vital part of survival on

, especially as they embark into the ocean for season two. But, we still don’t know very much about him, and after that wild first episode of the second season we can’t help but wonder… what’s his deal?

Executive Producer Dave Erickson spoke EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife.com at the season two premiere of

, and he let us in on a little secret: Victor Strand is totally up to something. Is it safe to say I told you so yet?

“He clearly has an agenda of some kind, and that’ll be part of the mystery of the first several episodes,” Dave spilled, which explains all of the mystery shrouding Victor, the unintentional hero of the series for saving Nick and his family from a crumbling Los Angeles.

“Everyone on the show is dealing with and suffering from loss, whether it’s Liza or Griselda or Matt, and then we’re going to see a family walking away from the devastation of a place they’ve known all their lives,” Dave continued, offering some insight into what the characters are struggling with. “So it’s going to be dealing with that drama and then figuring out how to not only survive an apocalypse, but how to survive on a boat, which is being captained by a man whom we don’t know that well.” Hmm, interesting!

Naturally, we had to follow up with Victor Strand himself, actor Colman Domingo, about his character’s so-called “hidden agenda.” Here’s what he had to say:

“Well I think that he is played by a character, he is played by me, so therefore I am trustworthy, I like to look people in the eyes and I think that when it comes to Victor he is fearless in that way as he will look you in the eyes, he will seduce you. He will use the base notes in his voice, he will use what he knows in psychology to break someone down or build them up,” Colman told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “So I think that people should trust Victor because when you examine the character and what he says it is always true… so far! If you drive me to my house I will give you shelter, you need safety I got a boat, I got a place! And it has all been proven true, so what is there not to trust? I think people are so weary of trusting a wealthy man so there is questions about him in every single way!”

We can’t wait to see what Victor is up to in the season episode of season two on Sunday night, April 17, only on AMC.
