HAMPTON, Va. - Four Fayetteville State players were honored oleh the CIAA on Monday, for their contributions to the Broncos' 37-17 win over Chowan.
Defensive end Darius Powell, linebacker Joseph Brown and safety Adrian Horton were key cogs in a FSU defense that limited the CIAA's puncak, atas passer, C.J. Westler, to just 161 yards passing.
Powell amassed two of FSU's 10 sacks while Horton tallied nine tackles, a forced fumble and an interception. Brown, who is detik on FSU in tackles per game, made 10 tackles, including a 1.5 for loss and broke up two passes.
