okay about the voting twice, i have had a thought
if we make two of the same picks but one tittled 'vote one and vote two'
then fans can pick twice
aslong as they dont vote for the same one twice ♥

but we are not voting by picks..because that would be mean ( if one entry get no vote) we are voting per message to the judges!

but you could vote for two submissions first round and then 1 submission in the finals.

we put the names down and then the voters send one of the judges a amessage with vote for the people they want to win and the judges count them up and only reveal the first second and third place ♥

i agree! if you laid out all the names in a soapbox with a link to each entry (if thats not too much trouble) and have a time limit to message the judges with your vote!

Oh, and another suggestion for "advertising":
* mention the competition in other spots, not just Fanpop Users. There's only a tiny fraction of the site's users that check that regularly (even if they are often the more active ones).

Two tips on word-of-mouth advertising like that (applies to anything, not just this event):
A - DON'T create a new forum thread with the subject line <this is what I want you to see>. For instance, don't put a forum thread called "Fanpop's Got Talent!" People won't read that, because it's obviously not related to the spot topic.

B - DO relate existing forum thread discussions to the event you want to advertise. For instance, in the Fanpop Users thread "Fanpop Users A-Z" you might put:

"A - amazondebs. I really like her, especially for all her work on the link. Auditions are still underway, until this date: blah blah blah. She's really done a great job."

You get the idea. People are more likely to check it out if it isn't blatant, and if you work it into existing discussions.
