what happens when anda get your toungue pierces?what do they do? how much $$ is it? and does it hurt also how long dos it take? i was gonna get itdone in a few hours so answer quik.

This is what I understand of the process.

How much: How much money the procedure costs varies depending on who does it.

What is done: First, you'll choose the post anda want (what goes through the tongue). They'll talk to anda about the procedure, and especially how to remove the post in order to clean the piercing. Then, depending on who does it, they may give anda a local anaesthetic shot to numb your tongue. Once that's taken effect, they'll grab your tongue - usually with some sort of clamp, but not always - and push a needle through the tissue, about an inch back from the tip, where the muscle is a bit less elastic. Then they'll sterilize the wound and insert the post you've chosen. You'll be diberikan gauze to staunch the flow of blood, spare gauze for later, instructions for how to sterilize and how often anda need to sterilize, and maybe some cleaning solution for the wound and the post (this varies). Once they're clear that there isn't abnormal bleeding, they'll let anda go.

How long does it take: like most piercings, it doesn't take very long. As long as there are no complications, anda should be out of there within a half jam of the initial poke, at most. The healing so the tongue isn't sore takes a lot longer, though, from a few days to weeks, depending on the person.

Does it hurt: The procedure hurts, yes, though less so if a local anaesthetic is used (it's just uncomfortable, then). After the procedure is when it can get bad. Your tongue will never stop trying to heal itself, so anda will need to get in the habit of removing the post regularly and cleaning the wound so that it doesn't get infected. Almost all piercings can get horrible infections, but tongues are particularly bad. Most people with tongue piercings can tell anda about their experiences with infections, and the weird-colored discharges that came from their tongues. Aside from infection, anda also have to keep your mouth very clean to avoid getting bad breath. But if you're very careful and tidy with your mouth, they can be a lot of fun.

I just stumbled across this so I thought i'd put in my 2c worth based on actual experience.
I'm not going to go into medical procedures atau any gory details here, I've had my wisdom teeth taken out and that was lebih painful than the piercing.
I had my belly button done about 10 years ago. I don't even know why because I have no other piercings on me (not even ears) and no tato as neither is something I would find attractive on myself.
I think the belly button thing was just because it was really "in" at the time.
I'm going to be really honest with you,Chloe, all it did was bring me problems and pain. I took really good care of myself in looking after it from the beginning but the body basically rejected it. It kept on getting infected over and over again and all it did was cost me quite a bit of money on medication, and a great deal of pain.
I finally had to remove it. Yes, it did look nice especially when I was at the pantai with a tan but the discomfort and pain wasn't worth it to ME.
Having berkata that, everyone is different. I also know many people who have had piercings,including the tongue, and have had no problems whatsoever.
Maybe anda should discuss it a little bit with your MD and see what the pros and cons are.
