Chapter 2: Confusion
Three hours later, I can't leave my bedroom. oleh the way, Miles wasn't knocked out. He's just not feeling well. Anyways, so two hours ago, Father and Stepmother Vanilla finally wake up. My siblings and I are all talking in the living room. Our stepsisters are at their friend's house for a week-long sleepover. Yeah, we're allowed to have those... Stepmother Vanilla nudges my father, and he goes, (sigh) "What did anda want earlier, Sonia-Anne?" Annoyed, I respond, "If anda cared about me and the others, you'd have let me answer when I came into your bedroom earlier." My siblings gasp at the way I just talked to my father, but I'm not feeling friendly today. "You four, quiet. Excuse me?" He replies. "One of us could have been dead," I say. "And anda hardly even pay attention when I'm trying to tell anda something. I want to look up to anda as a good father, but you're akting kind of selfish if you'd rather sleep than listen to your daughter." Father is furious at me now, and he sends me to my room for the selanjutnya week. I'm used to serious punishments, so it's not a huge deal to me. It's that my father wasn't even putting himself in my shoes is what bothers me. I'm scared that worse things will happen.
