I had issues picturing Daniel until I saw Matt Lautner....so tough but dreamy too!!! Perfect Daniel!!!! The others are too well knows and I imagine who they already play.

Paul Wesley, definitely the best choice to play Daniel Grigori. His deep set eyes call out the mysterious and his personality fits to play the cold and detached Daniel of the earlier chapters and yet his drop dead looks and his intense stare would absolutely bring out the romance and passion pent up inside the protagonist.

The guy from the Torment trailer just looked so like Daniel in my mind. All the Rob's & Paul's of the Vampire world are just too obvious and I can't see them as anything other than the roles they currently play.

None of the above. I think Chris Zylka of The Secret Circle should play Daniel. He has angelic looks & can be stand offish, has a sexy stare but can be sweet & charming as well. Daniel has to be really good looking. Matt Lanter I pictured more for Cam.

I think Alex Pettyfer is perfect for this role. Just read a scene from the book between Luce and Daniel and imagine Daniel as him. I did that and it's like this character is based on him. My opinion! Hope he will play Daniel
