Are the Doctor and Amy gonna get together eventually?

I was just wondering if there were any spoilers about the development of the relationship between Amy and the Doctor. Honestly I think it was a bit dull to involve Rory, I was enjoying the sebelumnya episodes but now are the writers trying to tell us that there's no way for the Doctor and Amy to ever get together? -_-

I don't think that the Doctor will intend for anything to happen but Amy has shown both patience and persistence in her time as a Companion and I have a feeling she won't give up on the Doctor. She'll pretend to be satisfied with Rory and then she'll get the one she really wants. I hope.
