The memory haunted me as I was parking to go to a party with my good friend.

"You're sure anda wanna come?" Bridgette asked her as I got out of my car and started approaching the hotel.

We laughed and walked into the large hotel and straight to the ballroom where the party was being held.

It was crowded as hell in there. I saw Duncan and he was flirting with some girl, and it made me the most pissed off girl in the room when he looked straight at me, then kissed the other chick.

I walked out of the party and out into the hall. I pressed my back against a dinding and fell down and put my head between my knees.

Duncan's POV:

After I walked away from Courtney that girl I kissed earlier showed up...what was her name...oh, her name's Karolina atau Kristina atau something of that nature...

"Duncan! Come on, let's go dance atau something!" She was obviously wasted lebih than a lotta people here.

"Hey....you! I'm sorry, but I gotta go!" I held up my police badge, "duty calls."

Now, I know what you're thinking! I was a total delinquent, and now I'm like my folks. A police officer. Long story short, I wanted to be with Courtney without jaily interruptions. And my parents had a good relationship with some police people, so I could stay with her.

"Hehe, I always loved a man in uniform," She purred as she put her hands on my chest.

"Woah there, chickie, haha...gotta go!" I berkata as I speed walked off into the hall to think.

I saw Courtney sitting there with her head down and I asked, "You okay?"

She raised her head for a moment, grimaced, then put her head back down, "What the hell do anda want, Duncan?" She spat the words as if they were a wretched curse at me.

She sucked in a fast breathe, and I was almost sure that she smiled at the touch, but when she turned her face was just as grim as before, "Duncan, don't touch me! Don't talk me! Don't do anything with me!"

Now that made me even lebih wanting to annoy the heck out of her. And yet it made me even lebih scared of her, not that I'd ever give her that pride.

"Princess," I berkata the name so sincerely and sweetly that it was hard not to give me a chance. A trait of mine that I can't say I hated.

"Don't anda dare 'princess' me! I'm no longer your princess. anda ruined that when anda kissed that damn girl!"

"This isn't worth the fight, we had that fight months ago. Now is the time when I make a failed attempt to tell anda that I cinta anda and I don't wanna hurt you, but anda don't believe me. Then I make another failed attempt to prove it, but anda still don't. Then I have to ciuman anda to tampil anda that I really care.

"And when anda still don't believe me, atau at least anda act like anda don't, anda tell me to screw off and then anda walk away. But ten menit later you'll come back and ciuman me.

"And what tops it all off is that, Courtney, I love it when anda do that. Any other guy would hate it! But me, no, Courtney. I cinta anda so much that I deal with it, and I cinta it. God, how I cinta to mess with you!

"Courtney, damn it, I cinta you! I always freaking will and there is nothing anda can do to stop it."

Courtney stood there, speechless, and she sighed, "You're wrong on one thing. This time, I'm not coming back to ciuman you. I'm not coming back at all," She turned around from me and walked back into the party.

I mumbled back to myself, "Yeah, and anda berkata that last time."

I walked into the lobby of the hotel and sat down in the waiting area that overlooked Niagara Falls. I even have to admit that it was beautiful.

It reminded me of back at TDWT, where it all broke down.

I meant it, I loved Courtney. All the other girls were just there to edge off the curve of it. anda know how when you're hungry, and anda eat something small to curve the edge of your hunger? That's what other girls were for me.

I thought she was in my head for a second, but then I looked up and she was standing there, looking all beautiful.

When I berkata nothing she said, "You were right."

"About?" I asked.

"Everything."

She rolled her eyes, and before she kissed me she said, "You ciuman one lebih girl, and I will kill anda in the sickest ways possible."

I smirked, "I embrace that, Courtney."
