Tracing is for hacks and little kids. It's almost like a phase that needs to be grown out of, or a disease that needs to be cured.

But I don't consider it actually drawing.

i dont trace i look at a picture and draw it. it may not be my own work but i didnt trace it... does that count as drawing?

Almost. I animate frame-by-frame. So when I trace I don't redraw the image exactly the way I drew it the first time; something about it changes slightly.

i cant trace
