@ClassicTv- Seriously, we get that you like the "classic" princes but I think everyone who chooses Cinderella has very valid reasons, and everyone who doesn't like him has valid reasons too. Cinderella has far more screentime, far more development, and far more personality depth. Not to mention Charming is lazy and doesn't bother to look for Cinderella.
However, I really love Charming :3

ANYWAY, as I was going to say before I was rudely interrupted, I picked Cinderella because of her personality and her backstory. I love her and her prince equally, though. I was just making a point that Charming hardly gets any respect (and he doesn't!) and when I posted that comment, 100% had picked Cinderella.

EDIT: Oh, princesslullaby, I only said that because I didn't want to argue with her. <:/ We don't hate each other, but she WAS tiring me with that.

Moreover yeah, Charming is boring, dull, uninteresting, lazy and lacks personality. So tell me again, why exactly should I pick him over Cinderella?

@BelleAnastasia: I'm not saying that you should pick him over Cinderella. I'd understand why you would. But I don't understand why people call him things like "lazy" and "immature" and such. He fell in love with Cinderella and brought happiness to her terrible life. How does that make him crappy or lazy or immature? By asking the Duke to find her? BULL and CRAP! Never once did I hear anyone say "Oh, he's so sweet!" or anything like that. Sure, he may have no personality to some, but that's no reason to hate his guts.

When did anyone say they hate his guts? Asking the Duke to find her IS lazy, he should be looking for her himself. And by the way, HE didn't ask the Duke to look for her, the KING did. There's no evidence Charming made any effort whatsoever. By the way, I write all the time that I love Charming, so I think you only see what you want to see.

I picked Charming over Cinderella, but I have valid reasons. Your reasons are flawed and like BelleAnastasia said, you criticized people for not giving Charming any respect after ONE person voted for Cinderella. -.-

At least I call him lazy, because when Cinderella ran away, he didn't make any attempt to find her himself, instead he sent his servants to do the job. I mean if you really love somebody and you're sure you want to spend your life with them you don't just sit on your ass and wait...

He didn't went after her (so much for loving her), at least he could have gone looking for her or even tell his father what had happened. The poor Duke had to tell him that she had run away.

I find Charming pretty funny, but I connect with Cinderella much more. I can relate to Cinderella with her struggles, and I really admire her unbreakable faith. It speaks volumes to me. <3

Charming, well, he is funny when he rolls his eyes at Anastasia and Drizella...hilarious, actually, but that's it. I can't connect to him as a character.

The only reason I like Charming is because everyone says I look just like him. :)
