I don't think Ariel. If she was really sad about her mothers death then why would she get an obsession to be human, the very people who killed her mother? Meh, I don't know. I think Pocahontas some how...or maybe Jasmine? Seeing as her mother must of been her only significant female influence in the palace.

Ariel not so much because she wanted to become a human and humans are the ones that killed her mother but maybe she was sad then she forgot in the first movie she didn't care but her mothers death was the saddest to me but Ariel wasn't sad she was ok with it after plus all she wanted was music to tell you the truth she didn't care about her mother just about how if she was her and all her sisters didn't care about the mother either the said they missed music not their mother so the only one that missed Ariel's mother was her father so um i would vote Pocahontas

I am just saying to see if you might change your minds i am not going to vote+they did make a short movie on jasmine's mother she died from walking in the desert when jasmine was 8 and when they got home they found out is was poison that when she found her pet tiger its very old and very few people have seen it
