Beauty and the Beast. I love the score a lot. The background music reveals show much emotion, and it is very delicate. It's beautiful

Princess and the Frog: Randy Newman one of my favorite composers, and this is my favorite score that he's done. He's a master with music! Anyway, I love this soundtrack SO much because of it's variety. You have gospal, showtunes, zydeco, and of course jazz. There isn't a song I don't like. I grew up with Jazz, and enjoyed hearing it done so well in this movie! The songs are used perfectly to show character motivation and development. And they're just fun!

Pocahontas: Alan Menken at his finest! Every song is spetacular. I can play "Just Around the River Bend" and "Colors of the Wind" on piano, and they are just the funest to play! I love the background music. It can be playful, daring, fearful, and hopeful. My favorite soundtrack for any animated film! Whoo oh yeah Pocahontas!

I think this'd be third on my list. Pocahontas would be fourth. You're right - these ARE hard to order.

PATF has the WORST score, IMO....it's really bland.

Belle and Be Our Guest are the only songs i like in BATB, and Colors of the Wind is the only good song in the entire freakin' movie for Pocahontas. but when you have Almost There, Down in New Orleans, Dig a Little Deeper, and When We're Human, all accompanied by A CROCODILE PLAYING THE TRUMPET, you get EPIC.

I'm not a huge fan of the PATF songs, and I only really like Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas... in Beauty and the Beast, I love Belle, Be Our Guest, Beauty and the Beast, and Gaston.

I think Beauty and the Beast has my favorite Score, and Pocahontas is 4th. PATF is dead last as the music isn't that memorable to me.

The thing is, Pocahontas has the better score and I like the songs (love two of them), but when they put If I Never Knew You into the mix... That song really should have stayed deleted. This is my absolute serious face. I love ALL of the songs in PatF, so it auto-wins. I only like two of the songs in BatB - Be Our Guest and Gaston. So it's not in the running.
