"I don't think love is the only drug you're on, Kesha!"
Best Facebook page ever. <3

Anyway, yes. Are you a Jane Austen fan per chance? We had to do Pride and Prejudice for our English coursework. I CAN'T STAND IT. Most boring piece of drivel everrrr. And I've read Twilight.

I love Jane Austen...I used to think it was boring too, but for whatever reason it grew on me.

I prefer my literature to have a little more... what's the word? Action. And it's not romance without sex in my world. Was Jane Austen oblivious to all the sexing that went on? She even skips over the whole "Lydia and Wickham have eloped. They're obviously not playing scrabble in that bed!" subject. Really, it needed some. Just a little silly remark from Lydia like "HE'S SO GOOD IN BED, LOL!" and then the rest of them being like "*food choke* GURL, WTF?!"

See, I guess that's why I like her books so much...I work with 17 guys everyday and I am the ONLY woman, so I hear IT ALL. So when I read, it's my way of escaping the vulgarity I hear and see everyday, It's refreshing to me...to enter a world where men stand up when you enter a room and bow to you...and that have impecable manners...ehh, maybe I'm old fashioned, but thats what I like :)

It didn't help that Jane Austen's writing style is so irritating. Other writers from that era manage to write something the average person can actually understand. Most of it makes me physically go "What the actual fuck? SPEAK ENGLISH, WOMAN!"
I'm reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which wasn't written THAT long afterwards, and it's basically understandable. Jane Austen makes Shakespeare look like text speak.
