Tough one for me. Belle has a bit more range. Snow White's personality is completely one dimensional.

Snow White?! she isn't generic AT ALL.
Belle's actions in the movie all have a purpose in the film. She's a filler, she goes through all the motions. I find her generic, with a tacked on bookworm thing.

Snow White, GENERIC? She's the most uncommon person out there- you'll never meet anyone like her. But I know plenty of people like Belle.

I dunno. Isn't Snow White like the general idea of a princess? Singing, dancing, talking to animals, falls in love at first sight with a prince?

^^I guess but I'm going as generic for a real person. Like, I meet at least three girls like Belle a week, whereas I've never met girl like Snow White in my life.

i think Aurora and Cinderella are the more generic princesses. but generic isn't necessarily a bad thing. what IS a bad thing is that i had to use spell check to spell 'necessarily'.

She has a pretty plain and generic appearance, and her personality was sort of like a "random princess" button had been pressed and it had just punched out a checklist of:
- Kind and caring.
- Only respects those who deserve it.
- Loves some sort of sidekick.
- One little quirk that will try and make her seem ungeneric (reading, duh).
- Likes to dance and sing and generally do things that other people only do when drunk, in the shower or think no-one is watching.
Whereas Snow White was obviously given some thought. She was the first princess, that means if anything, she isn't the one that got the button pressed for her but she was the one that set the checklist. Granted, she's a freaky looking thing and she's generally weird in most ways anyway, but at least she's not plain and all "Let's press the Random Princess button because we've exhausted all our personality-making skills on the other characters!" Though, at least they bothered to press the button. I don't think it's eligible to if you're only in the film for 18 minutes. Not naming anyone. *points towards the bedroom* She's in theeeeerrrrreeeee. But you didn't hear it from me.
