Emmy Rossum is more similar to Disney's Belle, but I think that Anne Hathaway has more personality... and to play Belle's role you NEED personality, in my opinion...

Haha it's ok, I saw the whole Pirates of the Caribbean saga, and I had a friend who was a HUGE fan of hers and always tried to make me like her xDD So yeah, I've seen enough pictures/interviews/blah to know her and to know I can't stand her.

I think Emmy Rossum's quite pretty, and a good actress, but I can't see her as Belle. I'd see her as more of a Snow White or an Ariel type. Personality-wise, Anne Hathaway's our best bet. Keira Knightley's a wonderful actress, but she's slightly too spunky/gutsy to play Belle. She's more of a Jasmine type, if anything else.
